EL is boring and no one cares about it, especially a legendary club like Milan. Montella will use the B team and focus on Serie A if he's clever enough.

With Montolivo, Poli, Gonez and co. that said B team is set to be out after group stage so no big deal here.

Congrats guys.

I remain serially jealous of your consistency on several levels.

I see no end to this hegemony. We're not going to have our shit together enough to prevent #7 next season.

congratz to Juve

I shit on the league for the most part but Napoli and Roma seemed pretty strong this season

hopefully they can keep it up, need to see someone challenging you again, seems to be heading that way IMO, just hope Roma don't sell Manolas, Nain etc this summer

is Manolas confirmed to be heading to Inter?

And I don't believe the reports regarding Spalletti. No word from him, Monchi or Pallotta so it's BS until it isn't.

They wouldn't say anything until the season ends. It shouldn't come as a surprise if he decides to go, Rome is too ungrateful.

Di Francesco was the latest link in case he leaves. Fits the Roma profile.

Manolas to Inter is still just rumor as well at this point. Not against selling him, but not to Inter. That would be just plain stupid.

I expect Chelsea to step up their interest if they manage to keep Conte.

I like EDF alot (former Roma player so naturally) , but I have a lot of trouble seeing him surpass what Spalletti has done so far.

That said, I am no longer of the mind that we need am established name to successfully challenge Juve. After all, Conte wasn't exactly "established" when he took over and won them those first 3 scudetti. Maybe that will work for us with EDF. Completely different coach though.

i don't see Roma being that good next season, especially if Dzeko cannot maintain the same level of play. EL spots at best i'd say.

Napoli and Inter will be complete the top 3. Napoli because they already have a great core of players and they will add some talented and relatively cheap depth to their squad like they do every summer. And Inter because Suning seems like a serious management, they are 3-4 players away from being podium contenders. Manolas, Berardi, Darmian, Arda Turan (confirmed players) and the doom is over.

Milan & Lazio's performances will depend on who they buy and sell, respectively. Not so high expectations about them, to say the least.

Can't dismiss Roma like that, their team is too good to be out of the race next season.

IF their coaching situations turns out well enough, they will be at the top again and challenging.

Worst case scenario they sell Nainggolan and Manolas, that's a TON of money. They'll replace Manolas, fix their right back situation, and boost their midfield and attack.

Napoli is a machine and they will improve. They are all young or in their prime except for Reina and Albiol who can be improved on.

Inter and Milan? who knows.

Lazio will be there again, Inzaghi is doing great work.

This season's has probably been the strongest Juve I've seen in a long time. Stronger than Conte's best.

Roma and Napoli had extraordinary seasons that could have gotten them the league if it weren't for a specially strong Juve.

Definitely not convinced Milan teams will takeover Roma, Napoli and challenge Juve..Milan need hundreds of millions spent to overhaul basically the entire team

Inter have already spent that kinda money and look where they are

If Inter lands a proper manager, I'm convinced they can compete at the highest level. They have more quality in their squad than Milan does currently. Milan does have a proper manager, in my opinion, but their project will take longer based on the signings/players they've focused on.

Slightly off topic, but Berardi had a great match today. I don't think he's quite ready for a move to one of the top Italian teams like Bernardeschi is, can anyone see Bernardeschi moving to Inter or Milan or even Juveand then Berardi taking his place at Fiorentina? As a way for him to bridge the gap so to speak.

There is no need to bridge any gaps, Berardi has done more than Bernardeschi. Its just that no one watches Sassuolo.

You think Berardi is as ready or more ready than Bernardeschi for a move to a top club?

Yes, definitely. Already last summer Berardi was ready, he just wanted to stick with Sassuolo and Di Francesco into Europa League.

He is a 22 year old with 4 full seasons in Serie A as a starter.

Since he was 19 he has put Sassuolo on his back. He has 76 G+A in Serie A. On top of that, he is not only goals, he contributes to everything Sassuolo needs. Now that the team sucks, he has had to play far from goal to start plays and does it well too. No player in the mid-to-low table clubs is more ready than he is.

Bernardeschi is also ready, but not more than Berardi. He only broke into Serie A last year.

That's fair, I feel like Berardi has had a couple of down seasons in a row- not terrible seasons by any means but not better than his first two in Serie A. I know a lot of this does come from the fact that he plays for Sassuolo though.

Bernardeschi, based on this season, seems like a more refined player.

I do think Berardi has more potential in the long term though.

We talk about Schick, Keita, Belotti, Kessie, Pjaca, etc. as guys linked to big moves (or already at a big club) and they all have some degree of uncertainty as to whether or not they are just in good form vs being legit.

Berardi has already gone through the tests and held his own for 4 years. Throw in a major injury, and he still came back great.

Its mystifying how he doesn't get hype around here, I can only think that its because he is not flashy to appear in highlight reels and no one watches Sassuolo games.

EDIT: This isn't answer to your post @Luca, I wrote it before I saw you post it just now.

The thing is though, that even in his "down" season, Berardi has managed the same G+A than Bernardeschi's breakout season!

This while Sassuolo is shit. He is just far too effective to ignore. His reading of the game is outstanding. In terms of positioning, picking a pass, finishing, he is the top youngster.

We (Juve) need Bernardeschi much more imo. He is my number 1 pick for our attack.

He may even be better in the end than Berardi as a player. I'm not arguing that. What I say is, if we think of Bernardeschi as being ready, then there can be no question that Berardi is as well.

Berardi will probably go to Inter (sadly), maybe Napoli. I have no doubt that he will shine.

That's a good shout @rincon, I just don't want to see his progress stagnate more than anything from not getting proper time or a proper role at a big club.

If he was coming to Juve I would trust it right away because we've been great at managing young talents recently, like Dybala and Pogba for example.

It's all about where he lands and how he's managed I suppose.

Anyways, I wouldn't be surprised if both Bernardeschi and Berardi move this summer and I hope were in for one of them.

They're both more than G+A in my opinion, particularly Bernardeschi.
