Hala Madrid! We did it! It doesn't get better than this! The best team since Di Stefano.

Remember this for the rest of your lives folks. Today we reached Heaven.

Whatever happens in the future, you can say you got to see Real Madrid make history in a similar way to our first Golden Age.

A few thoughts:

- We have 5 more European Cups than Milan and 7 more than Barca, Bayern, and Liverpool. Our historical superiority over them and everyone else has never been greater (Though we have held up to 8 more than Barca from 2002-2006).

- We have canceled out Barca's golden generation with one of our own, a superior one in the biggest stage at that.

- Ronaldo has now reached true Madrid Legend status. Untouchable.

- Our entire recent history is recontextualized. Florentino Perez will be remembered more fondly now.

- We need to build a statue to Zidane, but just not from that guy who made Ronaldo and Bale ones recently.  

Best in the world of a reason.
