The gap between Real/Barca vs the rest of the league is even far wider than the gap between PSG and the rest of the league. It's just also thesame Barca/Real facing Eibar, Girona, Las palmas, Levante, Alaves, zaragoza, getafe, Santander, Betis, Deportivo, is considered a joke and yet people applaud and hype the shit out of such any win or goals scored against such opponents.. So, it's all about perspectives here. You see whatever you choose to see tbh.. This will be a perfect excuse for the haters though but it will ultimately not matter, at least not when he has also totally dominated dem la Liga teams and best defenders also from Real Madrid to Atletico to Sevilla to Villareal to Bilbao to Eibar to Las palmas. I somehow am not amazed with his stats in PSG. He will make sure the opponenet bleed. Plus PSG have Cavani Mabapa to score plenty of them.

In the French leauge the only decent teams are Monaco, Lyon and Marseille.

In Spain theres Real, Atletico, Valencia, Sociedad, Sevilla, Bilbao, Villarreal, Celta.

I believe that in general La Liga is much more competitive than Ligue 1 and I would say that it's pretty obvious.

You don't need Neymar to beat the easy opponents.  But when the elite come knocking and the midfield is basically negated, then Neymar is the difference maker.

So, you judge Neymar on goals? lol, when he is neither the main creator (messi) or main goal scorer (suarez) nor was the team built around him at barca? you want to judge neymar, then judge him based on when the team has being built around him (at Santos or when messi has being injured), or when on international assignments (for brazil) these times, he has being the obvious best player in the world. infact, it was one of the rare moments when messi was injured for a stretch that he was able to get himself a Balon D'or nomination.

Now, how about the fact that Neymar has been the number 1 and 2 for 3 straight years on your whoscored bible? from dribbling, to performance rating to assists? or the fact that Neymar has had the highest rating (on second to messi) on your bible whoscored for 4 years now?

And yet he's suddenly more relevant when he scores more, against lesser opponents. That's how it works, low level logic doesn't work for everybody.

He's not more relevant because he scores against lesser opponents, nobody said that, otherwise we'd be hyping up cavani/lewandowski/falcao by now since they've scored more. Hell, he was already a top 3 player on planet in barca ffs, even without him really getting into second gear or scoring absurd amount of goals for barcelona. So, the question has never being about relevance tbh..

It's about his top of the charts natural all round game that people are now starting to appreciate him for as opposed to when he was at barcelona where was just stuck on the left flank, and sometimes even going as far as playing left back without having the freedom to play his natural game like he does for Brazil, is doing in PSG and like he did for santos. As at today, it's pretty much basic that he's one of the best 2 or maybe 3 players in the world today. I will lol so hard when he eventually lifts the CL for PSG between now and 2 years time

Infact, in PSG he's actually a 10, more of a creator as opposed to scoring goals.. So, I don't know where the issue of goals are coming from

Bro you're the one that moved the goalposts. Your original point of objection was people talking about how "Neymar destroyed a much better league for years". Nobody actually said Neymar is any more relevant or any better, but now that's what you're arguing against all of a sudden.

And what do you expect to happen? People were always going to pay attention to Neymar's performances in Ligue 1 and are just commenting now.

Your logic is high level in your mind because it's twisted and you change the goalposts whenever you want. By extension of that, in reality your "logic" is actually the lowest level here.

The impressive part I've noticed is that Neymar recognized immediately the talent of Mbappe and is trying to create a rapport immediately. Cavani kind of gets in the way actually. Cavani may become expendable at the end of the year.

Lmao! Do you know that I tought of thesame thing? Cavani has been acting up, like some insecure person. He has refused Neymar taking any PKs, got in the way of almost all the passes Neymar created for Mbappe too you can even see that Mbappe has totally taken to being with neymar and has hardly said anything about cavani in public. For the times they linked up, it was quite telephatic, like they knew each other for years. I get the feeling that Mbappe kind of adores neymar and is willing to make the partnership work at any cost. He even started talking up Neymars Balon D'or chances already too and even the goal Mbappe scored was basically him trying to get the ball to Neymar just before the defender made the clearance that fell to him. The kid is really smart on and off the pitch.. The maturity Mbappe employed in leaving the pass neymar put on a plate for him for cavani to score just tells you everything tbh..
