@Firenze

Di Natale, Alexis, Cuadrado, Asamoah, Isla, Handanovic, Bruno Fernandes, Zielinski, Muriel, Pereyra, Allan, Basta,  Benatia, Armero, Candreva, Zapata, Inler, Pepe, Denis, Quagliarella, etc.

They had crazy talent over the years. They sold it all to bigger clubs and the current crop doesn't cut it anymore.

They should stay up imo

I don't really care since we're winning but that is atrocious refereeing. Tugging a shirt is a foul when the attacker does it but not a pk when the defender does it?

Jankto looks good too. I also think they have more than enough to stay up. Of course not like the Di Natale glory days of challenging for CL though.

Jakub Jankto that's a player i intend to follow closely this season.

This year will be the year he gets recognition, like Baldo Keita last season.

I was watching Torino-Sassuolo today .. Well many things to say it, but especially I like underlining again how much is special VAR. Deleted a fake penalty after few seconds   I am really a fan of it. We've reduced many errors.
If we were in a normal world, Carlo Tavecchio 'd have popular legimacy comparable with that of De Gaulle in postwar France  And instead it's already begun the campain against VAR.
Buffon against the VAR  is another demonstration that we must keep VAR a long time.

Buffon is against VAR, maybe because the 2 penalties called against us, after review, where bullshit ?

It's a noble tool but not that necessary, i don't want VAR to be the star of the show.

I am with VAR. The only problem with VAR is that it does not give Real Time result.

Something in this line should be build ::

1) In Case the goal is not legitimate, flash red light in the bar post so that everyone is aware of the result.
2) All decision of handball , out , offside should be sent to referee's wrist watch , so that he can take instance decision. Rather then referee calling for VAR and VAR returning the result.

Implementing these two will make VAR transparent.

I don't understand your concern , VAR is not retroactive.

I guess fake penalties awarded to Juve are up there with FFP as the reason Inter hasn't won the last 7 titles.

I think no Calciopoli in the last 7 years is probably the main reason Inter haven't won any titles since 2010...

ZENMASTER

Funny you say that, i've already thought about this exact thing, the flashing light on the goal post that gives instant decision. They say great minds think alike...

Offsides, hand ball are easy to understand on replay, within 10 seconds a decision can be made and transmitted on the field. Personal fouls are longer to analyze sometimes, i'd prefer if we stick to referee decision so the game goes without interruption.

Because the way it is currently... Rolling Eyes
The VAR itself is not even 100% right all the time, so what's the point of waiting 2 minutes ? Said it before, on paper it's a good idea but it has to give PERFECT and FAST results.

Think we should use only where it can give 100% result and rest leave it for referee. VAR is there for helping us and should use only those thing which can help us smoothen the game rather then delaying in the decision. We have lived with manual error since dark ages and can cope up with .05% of those err.

Yes, definitely we'd ve won in '98 and '02 with VAR but hard to explain it for who's not Italian .

3 things that I haven’t understood on Napoli

1. Why they ‘ve still this awful logo.  Hard not make better than this . Never changed lol
2. Why Reina stayed and they didn’t sign better GK. Last year they missed many points because of it
3. Why they insist on their policy to not give the N.10 after Diego Armando Maradona.
For me the retired numbers in an idiocy,  not even Roma did it with Totti.
Expecially if you have a player on team worthy to have it.  Lorenzo Insigne deserves it definitely and he is even from Naples. He ‘s became spectacular player, he’d play on many European top teams , he ‘s sometimes underrated on ‘ general consideration ‘ just because he doesn’t play with Juve Inter Milan IMO.
I’m became agnostic about the Nazionale ( so many hatred players for me ) but frankly  Italy hadn’t  a partnership as Insigne- Belotti for much time.
On paper it’s superior to that Balotelli-Cassano ( in 2012, the first was semi-fraud, the second was done ) that led Italy to Euro 2012 final.

Yeah i'm not big on retiring numbers either. Do it for a season or 2, not forever.

Same, max 2 seasons but ideally not even that. Just let new players make their legends in the shirt. I'm glad Tevez and Dybala wore the 10 even after Del Piero.

I'd give Roma's 10 to Perotti. Napoli's obviously to Insigne, few players in Serie A seem more fitting to be their team's #10 than him.

Maradona is arguably the greatest player ever. Nobody at Napoli can ever replace him or come close. Ever. I understand if they don't want Insigne or anyone else to wear the #10 as they are not worthy.

I'm sure Robes can understand how Napoli feels about Maradona. He is a God there. Unless Napoli sign Messi I don't ever see any player wear the #10 for Napoli ever again.

If Insigne leads his Napoli to two scudetti and leads Italia to a World Cup next year then maybe they can consider giving him the #10.

It's a slap in the face to any #10 type player that comes through Napoli in the next X amount of years. All to appease somebody who is no longer there.
