meh i have no hard feelings for Bacca . I know full well he crossed the line at times , but .. for me , i appreciate he joined Milan in some really bad times . He was one of the players that actually helped us get back on our feet and on his good days he won us games in his two years. And tbh with almost a goal in half his games and with the best conversion rate in Serie A in these two years , he wasn't that bad . Montella arriving tho , it made things difficult for him. He's a goalscorer , but very limited outside the area. Still scored ok with 14. But whatever , that's football lyf sometimes.

Doesn't excuse his behaviour at times obviously .. his head wasn't always in the right place , but what can you do , players will be like that sometimes . Nevertheless i wish Berry good luck . Under Montella we knew from day 1 he would be out of place , but he didn't give up until it became apparent he wasn't that important anymore.

I hope he enjoys himself with Villareal , he should prove a solid player for them.

It probably has , but i will delude myself until i can't possibly deny reality any longer .

As for Kalinic , pls talk quietly Giancarlo may hear us.. i said weeks ago that the moment Bacca got sold , Kalinic would show up max 2 days , i am sincerely not surprised in the slightest

Its the same lineup as always, just switching one midfielder with Matuidi if we need the energy (which we do)
+ Bentancur and Sturaro

The positions are flexible since basically all the forwards in the "3" position play everywhere, and the midfielders can be any combination. Also assuming that Spinazzola comes and Asamoah leaves.

But really nothing is set. Our depth in attack is quite great. There's also Khedira for our midfield. It will be one of Marchisio or Khedira to suffer on minutes with Matuidi signed. I can't imagine spending nearly 100M on Costa and Bernardeschi not to see them as starters.

But really the only starters on our team guaranteed are: Higuain, Dybala, Chiellini, Alex Sandro, Buffon and Pjanic.

Matuidi could become very useful for us, our midfield is just too low energy. We need runners and tacklers.

Couldn't agree more, especially if we're playing with two in the middle. This move could also unlock Pjanic.

Unfortunately, we can't all sign Fellaini. UEFA wouldn't allow it.

juve missed of a midifielder and CB. Now Matuidi is taken, curious to see who they will sign as CB ( if they will do it )

Shame. You could have probably got him cheap now we signed the player Juve fans wanted but couldn't afford - Matic. Fellaini is a squad player for us now so I'm sure he would have taken the downgrade if it meant he got a starting spot tbh.

Fellaini's also a better player than Matuidi in 2017.

Really I'm just happy for a midfielder. We've basically replaced Lemina and Rincon for Matuidi and anyone can see the merit in that.

to be fair other "'top teams" have targeted Fellaini, Paulinho and Bakayoko for even more money. I'll take Matuidi

Matuidi has been crap for almost 2 years now. His legs are starting to slow down and that's 80% of his game. Might be fine for Serie A though as the game is played at a slower pace there.

Let Juve fans have this 'victory'. Despite the fact they most likely just know him as a name that was hyped a few seasons back. Wouldn't get into the midfield of any top 5 team in the PL. I wanted him a couple seasons back but I'm glad we didn't sign him. Juve once more happy with another mans garbage.

Hoping he'll flop so that we won't have to see him in the starting 11 for France.

In fairness to Bargainbinventus I'd rather have Matuidi than Lemina.
