preach, he has always been this way but playing right midfield doesn't help. poor tactical set up from zidane, we did it earlier this season and the team looked equally meh. 433 is our identity, i dont understand why we dont stick to it

Benzema with his first in la liga

Can I just say Llorente we have the DM position covered for a decade to come. Benzema has been very good. Lucas has played quite nice too. Asensio as usual, not involved and Ronaldo needs to pick up too. If this Ronaldo-Benzema partnership works out then bye bye Bale because it's either Bale or Benzema.

Because we play incredibly better with a 4312 as has been shown both this and last season. But when Isco isn't there we alternate between a 442 (midfielders prefer this) and a 433 (attackers prefer this) . We are tougher to beat when we have more midfielders

I am sure when ZZ plays the kids in the Copa we'll play a 433 because they usually defend and attack together. But with BBC it's better to pair one of Bale/Benz with Ronaldo as opposed to playing them all at the same time

Thing with Bale is that, even if he was in great form (which he is not), he plays 2 weeks out of 8 (if you're lucky). How in the world can you count on that?

Achraf and Llorente both very good

Achraf has been much better than Carvajal this season

What an eye sore that second half was. Missed place passes after missed placed passes, lazy defending, players running into eachother and so on. I mean that last chance Getafe had, there were 4/5 players and nobody ran up to pressure the guy taking the shot. He could've dribbled all the way to the goal line unopposed.

Asensio needs to get his shit together. He is pissing me off, getting muscled off the ball by everything including the wind, holds onto the ball until there's a guy glued to him, drifts in and out of games. I suppose Isco learnt the hard way so Asensio should hopefully improve too soon

Achraf with a nice game but he lacks composure, he needs to think before making a pass. He keeps passing to guys who are totally marked, who then lose the ball. This isn't Castilla anymore where that sort of pass is considered positive play.

Marcelo glad his ass got hauled off. When he is in this mood, even Alcorcon will ruin that left side. Theo with a nice cameo. He should staft our next LaLiga game. He deserves it.

Isco disco the only that can dribble the ball forward and not passing it sideways scared to lose in. His introduction injected a massive spark into our team.

That tap in miss doe it's just not happening for him in LaLiga this season. But I still remember last season when we came to the conclusion that Ronaldo lost all his finishing abilities then he had the best second half of season in years. Hopefully that goal will have a ketchup effect on him. We need those hattricks rolling in pretty soon

I think the issue of 4-4-2 is the absence of Isco. This guy is the heart of the team no matter what formation is played. He completely turned this game around once he came on. He did the same thing with Spain NT game earlier this week.

Our problem is Asensio not stepping up. He is capable to play the same role as Isco, but for some reason he isn't playing that well recently.

So it's the absence of Isco IMO that's the issue plus the lack of goal scorers other than the front two, which we have talked about many time before. Thank goodness the two forwards today scored.

I also agree with Nick and ? (can't remember who said it) that Lucas in midfield just doesn't work.

Always a new line up, always a new set of players, you can both rest players and expect the team to roll out and win all games.

There is a balance to find, this season we have not found it yet, hopefully it comes
