What do you mean, is this what you are reading as headlines or on another site?

No, not as headlines but people's reactions/comments
I've been in the Juventus subreddit and you see some quite ludicrous things there, in my opinion anyways
Douglas Costa has been quite far from our best winger but his last couple matches have been more to speak about I suppose

Re: The 2017/18 Calcio Thread: Part 2
In serious talk now, Costa impressed me today.
Cuadrado has of course been our best winger, but today Costa showed he can be more than a winger. It was Crotone at home, so its not the best measure, but he looked really useful.
In the second half he stayed more central as opposed to going full wide and it was effective. Allegri said Costa in the second half started playing a mezzala role. His passing, dribbling and runs were good. His pace and workrate is awesome, we knew that. If he can mix his wider runs with this kind of play effectively then he will be great for us. He looked like complete player instead of a limited one as he had seemed imo (when in past games he ran, dribbled, and crossed or simply failed at the final ball).

Re: The 2017/18 Calcio Thread: Part 2
I felt it was a very positive showing from him, he built on a decent enough game with Barca. I think he's most effective when he floats like he did today and during the week, sometimes he drops deep to come to the ball, other times he goes from left-to-right. The issue when he's stuck to a wing is his final ball which is clearly his weakest point. We remove some emphasis from this when he's in the role like today.
The 3-4-2-1 might be the way forward because it gives us some defensive stability and opens up our attack because we have the opportunity to play Cuadrado as a wingback, and still have Douglas, Dybala and the Thickness up top.
But I'm definitely more in favour of a back 4, just my preference

I recently re activate my Facebook account (since Bell blocked my phone for non-payment and no one could join me)... and i find it flabergasting to see the hype on Benatia.
Look at Juve's page on Facebook... most people talking like Benatia is a club legend, far better than Chiellini and what not. At first i thought it was a meme ffs most posters on that page know jack shit about football and only see through black & white tinted lens, it seems

Well on Jacebook, Benatia is pictured as a semi-god, a Larbi Ben Barek regen if anything lol
I'd say he is decent at best, or average if you prefer
I re activate it only since yesterday (for urgency reasons), so maybe this hype is a recent trend/meme No wonder why this forum is my only social media

@Warrior the Benatia hype on Facebook is because of a bunch of morrocans. They hype Benatia and attack anyone else when he play.

Benatia was great in Roma (after solid years in Udine), he should never have left Roma for Germany

Re: The 2017/18 Calcio Thread: Part 2
Benatia has looked great in the last two games in back 3 but looked really bad in a back 4 earlier in the season. I'm happy to see him start in a back 3 but when its just 2 CBs he is behind Chiellini, Rugani and Barzagli, probably behind Howedes soon enough.
Our backline starts to take shape.

After today I've read:
-Mandzukic deserves to be the starting striker against Napoli
-Douglas Costa has been our best winger this season and he's finally getting his chance
-Howedes, immense
-Were so much better without Cuadrado
Now, I don't care who did it. Just stop it
That was me. I've made several accounts in various Juventus-related platforms in order to big up ex-Bayern players, and also Germans

Re: The 2017/18 Calcio Thread: Part 2
Getting like 180m in sales and ending up just with Nzonzi and Draxler. Seems legit.
Not ready to give up on Pjaca though. Since coming back to training he has played in two Primavera games, scoring in the first (Milan) and assisting two in the second (Sassuolo). Lets see when he regains fitness.
Pjaca is the only right footed "winger" that can play on the left. He can make himself a hole in the squad if he performs well enough.

Re: The 2017/18 Calcio Thread: Part 2
-Howedes, immense typical Marotta/Godfather signing, the resumé speaks for itself
-Were so much better without Cuadrado not true for NOW, yet as we see the 4-3-3 christmas tree is slowly taking shape in that case there isn't much need for Cuadrado as a starter, he can still be a relevant sub (12th to 14th player) RB/AM even Mezzala is worth trying in his case, he is quite versatile.

Unfortunate to hear about Montella. He's a pretty stoic guy though so he'll probably be ok.
Here's hoping Gattuso ends up being Serie A's answer to Simeone.

Montella will come back in Serie A. I guess he'll reappear in Bologna, Udinese or Cagliari. Something like that.

In that case, i agree with the "Mandzukic deserves to be the starting striker against Napoli" statement.
Yes it's sad for Montella, never was given more than a C+ squad to work with at Milang. His Fiorentina squad was better and he got some nice results if we remember. I see his dismissal as the usual powder to the eyes from the general managers who want to delay their admitment of failure.
