Against Napoli I expect us to go old school.

Buffon; Asamoah, Chiellini, Benatia, Licht; Mandzukic, Pjanic, Khedira, Costa; Dybala, Higuain

I think we'll see a 3 man midfield against Napoli but I would prefer your line up

Both Rome teams won, so Inter is out of the CL for now. Inter is capable of drawing or even losing against Chievo, depending on how they decide to play. Then comes Juventus. I have little faith in Inter making the top 4.

a 3 man midfield would be great against Napoli, a team whose main asset is the Allan-Jorginho-Hamsik midfield

- it's an important match so Marchisio is sure not to play
- surely Bernardeschi will get some minutes, as starter or as sub
- Douglas Costa is better on the left side

Costa & Berna on the wings plus we must start Mandzukic over Higuain imo.
He's on a better form and actually a threat on headers given he'll get some quality crosses from Costa (on the left) and Berna (on the right). He also performs on big mathes always.

Napoli is Higuain's favourite team to play against though, him scoring has become a sacred tradition

I'm actually down to see both Mandzukic and Higuain play

Bernardeschi as a substitute at best, he's played 3 minutes in the past month

Luis Alberto has the most assists in the league atm(14)

Isn't this the lad that flopped at Pool ? Or am I mistaken

It is. He's been very good at Lazio though

Inzaghi has most players performing quite well, only explanation for Immobile's goals

Inzaghi has done excellent work at Lazio but his teams leak a lot of goals at the back. I mean seriously, you're in the top 3 and you're 7 goals away from conceding 50 ! Thats just crazy ffs

Is he developing into another Montella ? I don't think Montella is a bad coach btw but organizing a defense isn't his cup of tea. Inzaghi seems to be heading down that path with his uber attacking philosophy.

Is he the right profile for Juventus hmm

Should look at that Crotone manager last night. Masterclass with 1/1000th of your budget. Sign him up.

Crotone is managed by Walter Zenga you uncultured swine

It kind of depends on when Allegri goes, he said he wants to stay for a long time just last week. I'm good with that too

Inzaghi/Giampaolo are the most likely candidates though

Inzaghi is also linked with Napoli, should Sarri fall out this summer

Lazio's defenders are too poor compared to the rest of the squad. That's a long time problem with them. They conceded the same under Pioli.

Old men Lulic, Basta and Radu surrounded by scrubs Patric and Lukaku, plus Felipe and Bastos (ok) and Wallace (?). De Vrij and Marusic are the ones to rescue but Marusic is an attacking player as a WB.

To play a more balanced game would probably be a mistake with this squad. I dont think this Lazio team could do better than they are doing atm.

Agreed. Shame that they bottled the EL in such spectacular fashion, which is the only thing I can fault them on

They really do have a poor set of defenders and it'll only worsen from losing their best one in De Vrij

We have conceded 21 goals less than Lazio (we ' ve been best Serie A defence so far I think) yet we are 1 point behind Laughing Laughing

They're great on attack, we are great on defence. Shame if you don't score you can't win matches

I ' d sign De Vrij (we re linked to him) because he is free agent and as free agent he looks like a very good deal

But he is not better than Miranda. Just younger

Yes. De Vrij's age and that he is free are the most attractive traits. Good defender nonetheless.

Btw Mediapro's Serie A tv deal tender has been suspended They secured a pretty good deal too (€1.05b a yr). Sky initially lowballed with a cheap offer which is why the rights was sold to these Spanish broadcasters in the end. Now Sky are complaining about the legitimacy of the deal. These people just don't want the league to grow

We have Caldara coming. The center of defence is not something we'll ever really stress about, especially with Allegri in charge
