His average rating is pretty fantastic though.
Despite playing an average of only 23.7 minutes per match he has an average rating of 6.58. You always start at 6 so on average he managed to improve his rating by +0.58 in only 23.7 minutes.
This basically equals an 8.20 rating over 90 minutes which makes him the best midfielder in the world

I still have serious doubts of Liverpool signing Ceballos unless it is part of a Salah deal.

Doubt Ceballos will be sold so quickly. We should get in on that if possible.

Ceballos reports seem to have first been reported by Don Balon so we already know it's nonsense.

is that the guy that has zero play making ability and has 4 goals and 2 assists in his whole career. Matic is a side passer that kicks people.

That being said, Juve and Liverpool would not be wasting their time trying to sign him. The young man could really be a legit world class midfielder.

at Madrid he has loads of good players infront of him at Liverpool he would play every week. Plus klopp will improve him attack minded players will thrive at Liverpool

i really dont see where Ceballos gets playing time ahead of our current midfielders, as good as he is, everyone ahead of him is better.

if we keep playing 433, he has Kroos, Modric, isco, Kovacic ahead of him. if we play 442, then he is not a wide mid, and even then he has Asensio, vasquez, isco, Bale that could play ahead of him. the 4312 is not going to be long term thing given how poorly it worked this year.

we probably should have never signed him, or at least we should have left him on loan, our midfield is just stacked.

and if that was not enough, Zidane doesn't feature him which means he is not counted on, like Llorente. These guys are out this summer imo

Don Balon used to be the best paper in Spain, back 10 years ago, they had insightful pieces, great players and team analysis. but they went under and it nw came back as a toilet paper website
