Talisca to decide between Man Utd and China
Benfica midfielder Anderson Talisca will decide between offers from two Chinese clubs and Manchester United, reports O Jogo.
The 24-year-old Brazilian scored 20 goals last season on loan at Besiktas, which has resulted in United lodging a bid of €40 million (£35m/$47m).
Talisca will also have the option of two unnamed clubs from China, who will likely offer him a larger payday than United.
China vs their European counterpart
ufff, tough decision to make

You really think that in a time where 70m € are paid for Morata, "noone wants" Lewandowski ?
Even in this inflated, crazy market, paying €200m for a 30-year old who's obviously past it is beyond the bounds of possibility.
Even Ronaldo, a 5-time BdO winner and a global marketing superstar wouldn't be able to bring that much if he was sold.
Bayern would be lucky to get €70m for him.
EDIT: Morata brought that much because he was young and was coming fresh out of a successful season at Madrid. He had good stats even though he was benched almost all the time. So he was able to dupe Chelsea into believing he had the potential to blossom into a world beater even though he didn't.

The likeliest destination is United because PSG already has FFP on its back and if they buy him, they'll get buried by UEFA. And we all know that hell would have to freeze over for Ronaldo before he even considers playing for United's crosstown rival.
Congratulations, Firenze! The legend is coming home to Old Trafford

Complete nonsense. If Bayern would be willing to sell Lewa for 70m there'd be 10 different clubs trying to sign him.
Realistically he's worth >100m, something like 120 probably.

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours 2018/19
120m is way too much for him. If he was younger, he would be worth much more, but it's the age factor that will continue to cast a shadow over any deal that might happen for him.
I'm yet to see a club going north of 100m for a 30-year old, even in this crazy market. If I'm missing someone, please refresh my memory.

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours 2018/19
If clubs like Atletico are willing to pay 66m for a washed up 29 year old Diego Costa (), then Lewandowski who just turned 30 can move for 100m+, absolutey.
And no it hasn't happened yet. Guess why? Because top strikers in their 30s are not playing for stepping stone clubs anymore and if they still perform these clubs will do almost anything to keep them.

banter when manure sell a prime ronaldo for £80mil and buy back a washed up ronaldo for £150mil. it will be like buying pogba all over againMr Nick09 wrote:we already did, why do you think ABola is having that news? they got a call from MendesUnique wrote:just tell him to fook off. he is at the end now anyway. fleece manure out of £150mil for him and buy greizmannMr Nick09 wrote: well, yes and know because last summer we offered to extend his contract to something that's convenient for us and he said no. no he wants 50 mil per year. good luck getting perez to pay him that much

You're just presenting your opinion as facts here without taking into account one major factor which is age.
No matter how you spin it, you'll never see a club pay 100m+ for a 30-year old. It's logically unsound because they would be paying a huge fee for a player who's in decline and who has no guarantees of consistency or longevity.
I don't know how good he is in the bundesliga, but in the CL against Madrid was a ghost and a shadow of his former self. He's not even worth 80m now, let alone 200m.
Heck, I would be really, really, reaaaaaally surprised if anybody offered 100m for Ronaldo (and this is a guy who can win you back the money from shirt sales in a month).

@MelissaReddy_
Genuine interest from #LFC in Xherdan Shaqiri, who would provide depth across the attacking positions. Danger from set-pieces, creative, can be decisive in the final third. Release clause of around £12 million makes it low risk.

tbh at 12mil i would take him as a squad player. we badly need numbers and he is a good age with plenty of experience.

#thfc have cooled their interest in #zaha after learning #cpfc value him at £70m. Palace still expect to agree new long-term deal. More here: https://t.co/VsjIe8MlbC

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours 2018/19
the way players are being priced out of a move by clubs will lead to players only agreeing to 2-3 year contracts in the end.

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours 2018/19
As they should do, these 5-6 year contracts are *bleep* stupid.
I've argued for years that players should be signing shorter contracts, I mean they renew every other summer anyway.

I think we need set release clauses based on something to do with the player's existing contract
Players gross wages x years left in the contract + a fee x years left in the contract
Would fix this silly spending which isn't good for anyone

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours 2018/19
you see Zaha being price at 80 millions euros, why do you think we will price Bale at anyless than 200 mil. you want him? we will happily negotiate with you, but dont think we will give you a discount. If you dont wanna pay, we will keep a top player on our roster, locked on a long term deal. and good luck failing to come out of City's shadowFirenze wrote:El Real Madrid pone precio a Bale: 222 millones de euros https://t.co/L9iGGPAKth
