The background negotiations regarding Alisson are curious: Roma have rejected an intermediary from Liverpool who offered 50 million plus bonus for the Brazilian and they have not comeback with a follow-up offer.

what's unreasonable about the signings he mentioned? Fabian Ruiz is a lovely player by the way. It would not shock me if Madrid go after him in the next couple of days

It's just too much for Napoli. 60M on Alisson would be their record signing by some distance. 50M on Chiesa would be more than they paid for their starting 3 forwards, more than they paid for Higuain (who was signed after they sold Cavani, for very similar amounts).

Even Ruiz, will only be signed if, and when, Jorginho's move to City is finalized

Nonchalantly mention offering 60M for a keeper and 50M for a young player of Fiorentina like that, it seems insincere

For comparisons sake, they signed Simone Verdi, for much less than 50M and any of the keepers he listed will be less than 60M by some distance. Easy gap to spot

Paris Saint-Germain are ready to sanction a £90 million ($119m) deal for Chelsea star N'Golo Kante, according to the Mirror.

The French giants see the midfielder as a perfect fit in their side, and are ready to make a massive offer to land his services.

Kante is in the third-year of a five-year deal with the Blues.

Inter turned down a €65m proposal from Manchester United for Milan Skriniar and are offering the centre-back a new contract.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport newspaper, the Slovakia international is absolutely not for sale.

He was snapped up from Sampdoria a year ago for €30m plus Gianluca Caprari and that proved to be a bargain, as he has been a rock in the Nerazzurri defence.

Still only 23, Skriniar took part in all 38 Serie A games, plus two in the Coppa Italia, scoring four goals.

It’s reported Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho set his sights on Skriniar, but the €65m offer was rejected out of hand.

In fact, he is in advanced negotiations to sign a new contract raising his salary from €1.5m per year to €2.2m until June 2023.

There is also believed to be interest in Skriniar from Barcelona, Manchester City and Real Madrid.
