I'm guessing quite a few fans turned up expecting an easy Liverpool win, but even the Everton fans seem quiet. It's weird.

Stadiums in england have library atmosphere in general. PL has by far the worst fans of all leagues

I don't think the issue is PL fans but rather stadium prices. The ones that get to go to stadiums aren't the boisterous fans from the neighborhood but rather the family and friends of the corporate sponsors.
