You forgot world number 1, Luka Modric 10.
And not the shirt number.

Barcelona are so confident in their league win that they allowed Villareal’s Chuck E Cheese to score a goal, as a token of sportsmanship.

I must admit, those 2 goals were kind of worth the comeback. Didn't know Suarez had that sort of left footed finish in him, uff.

Unbelievable game of football. Best game I have watched all season. The quality was sublime throughout.

Suarez ffs, how do you manage to miss that many chances and still be approaching 20 goals lol.

Because Messi creates ridiculously amount of chances for him.
Others don't have the luxury of having such quality service despite misfiring in front of goal.

I would still take him over Benzema any day any time. I would be a big fan of his if he wasn't such a dirty player.

Abomination of a post. Suarez has one of the best movements in the game, he gets into more goalscoring positions than he can chew and it's all down to his own ability. 90 % of the time the only thing Messi creates is the outlet ball to Alba which Alba returns back to him (and only him). The few occasions where Suarez gets the ball from Messi, Suarez waits and lays it back to Messi as well.
I bet 100 Euros Ronaldo has the highest "big chances missed" statistics in Serie A. I can't find the recent data but as of November he was already leading at 8:

Players like that with superb goalscoring movement always have the highest amount of missed chances.

I second futbol's post, Suarez rarely receives service from Messi. Varnagel's claim was formed out of thin air and has no basis whatsoever.

Ronaldo just had a poor/slow start to the season, like he's been having for the past 2-3 seasons. Muscle memory is one of the things that decline with age, and is likely why people say that aging players "lose sharpness". Whether you play sports, video games or do any kind of activity that requires precision and repeated motions, it takes longer to "warm up" your muscle memory as you get older.

Fraudbol is quite correct with Suarez's assessment. Wrong about everything else in general but this time, spot on observation.

Straight red for Costa. I'm not even watching the game but something tells me the red was justified.

He got a hard challenge and probably said some horrid shit to the ref. The ref, in turn, showed him red. Probably justifiable but you never know what exactly said.
All in all, Barcelona was probably gonna win regardless.

Most of the shots on goal were really poorly executed but has to be said Oblak is an absolute monster.

Not a great game. We were in second gear all of the game. Seemed fairly obvious we had one eye on the United game. Happy that it was a good result without the players having to exert too much.
