I’m actually amazed by how coach K is considered one of the greats. It’s ridiculous really. He’s never impressed me at all.

He’s more of a recruiter than coach.

Longevity and success. That's it.

Sure there is something to say about putting together functional teams with players with huge egos and getting them to win at least semi regularly in a very unforgiving tournament format, but I agree with you.

He identified the one and done trend early and rode with it.

It's the same thing with calipari. With the type of talent they have, they really should do better than they do. I mean, the fact Duke struggled the whole tournament is bad. Zion not getting the last shots is bad. Kentucky with Booker, Towns, Willy cauley Stein, and some other great players losing to WI lead by Dekker and Kaminsky is bad. Although that team did go undefeated the whole year, and sometimes good teams just lose to worse teams in basketball, so it's hard to criticize too much there. Should have won though.

And I want to see how they do once the NBA kills the one and done. No wonder coach K is being vocal about it. It's his entire strategy. It's his success. Exploiting a rule

I still have no idea why he let RJ Barrett let play hero ball in every loss.

Barrett was like 0-9 in losses where Zion was playing during the clutch.

Zion had 1 shot in all games combined...

Has to be the coaches fault at that point. Also no shooting at all from that team is entirely his fault as a coach and recruiter.
