Sule leaving @Hapless_Hans ??
Yeah apparently he said he'll leave and won't sign a new contract
kind of depressing, Sülinho is one of my favourite phenomenons in football
Why do you need Sulinho if you got Upamecano and Lucas?

30 mil for a 28 year old winger that has a nasty muscle injury. Marotta doing Marotta things
On the same topic, there are Dybala to Inter rumors, too. Fingers crossed

For a difference maker in that system (352) is worth the risk

Robin Gosens to Inter, here we go! Agreement reached with Atalanta. Loan with obligation to buy for €25m add ons included. Personal terms agreed. #Inter

Very good signing if he remains injury free.
Marotta is shrugging at Inter's supposed financial difficulties and improving the squad at a profit. Meanwhile, Milan is pinching pennies and risking undoing all the good work in rising from the brink.

Re: January 2022 winter window rumours, transfers, and contracts
Since he left we are at the mercy of the market to "improve" the squad i am shocked to pay 70 millions for Vlahovic. Now how much left to sign a decent midfielder ? Because it remains a HUGE problem around here (a striker was temporarily the priority)

Yes, given that Perisic is not going to extend his contract (he'll be free agent in June)

People used to say that about players opting to join Man City over more established clubs. And for a while, they were right If Newcastle is ever going to emerge as a football heavyweight, now's probably not the best of times to start doing so, but with enough money and the right transfers, the sky's the limit for them.

Álvaro Morata situation looks more than complicated for Barcelona. He wants to join Barça, there's no doubt - but Atleti are not accepting another loan move and Barcelona can't register him if they don't sell any player. #FCB

Re: January 2022 winter window rumours, transfers, and contracts
Idk what Xavi's long term vision is. I'm guessing it's a 3-2-4-1. Having Adam hug the touchline and dribble to the byline with his right foot will inject Barca with a different dimension offensively.
Even if he's retarded with his decision making and overrated, I think he can do well in a simplified role like that. Not too many pacewhore right footed 1v1 wingers these days. Coman and Adama come to mind. I guess Sterling too but he plays all over the front line.
He'd play the same role Davies does for Naglesmann just on the wide right instead of the wide left. The question with him is where he'll defend off the ball. Davies can drop back into the back 4. Adama would either have to defend as a RWB in a back 5 or as a RW in a 442/433. He's a great counter attacking threat but I'm not sure you'd want someone like him closer to the opposition goal when he has such a poor scoring record.

Guimares as your new starting DM is a great start. Newcastle's scouting ID looks pretty good. Trippier will lump crosses to Wood. ASM is your wide dribbling threat. Not sure where the links with Diego Carlos are at but having a hard man CB will shore up things even more.
There might be some optimism if you don't get relegated.

Regarding Carlos, Monchi said today that the offer was good and negotiations respectful but January isn't the right time.
So that seems off the table.

is Guimares a DM? I thought he was more a Kovacic type.
