Superleague is actually illegal too. You need everyone to sign off on a non-competitive league, not just a few chosen marketing operators. By creating something that's monopolistic by nature, you're an easy case for antitrust lawsuits.

Article 101 again... Article 101 prohibits anti-competitive agreements between two or more independent market operators.

UEFA is legal except for FFP. Superleague is entirely illegal.

But again, football powers do not want the legal system to get involved in these things. As BC mentioned, the house of cards could then fall down.
