Bang on. Yet we love our players and would like to see them as internationals. Its good for players' exposure as well. Its rather unfortunate if you see it that way.

Yeah it's probably killing him and TBH it's a stupid reason for him to not be in the NT squad. Why not sort the thing out?

They've done the obvious thing. I mean your captain, most experienced player, goalscorer and living legend will not be benched for a good DM. No offense to Song, but you get the idea.

I don't mind too much, since he concentrates on Arsenal, but a player at his age needs all the playing time and experience he can get. If he sorted his problems out I wouldn't mind.

Who said anything about benching Eto'o?? They should just put their beef aside and focus on making their freakin country proud...

Where is the whole "humility" gone? There were times when most players would keep their heads down, put their differences aside, and work as a team, be it club or country.

If that was there, we wouldn't have the kind of problems that Gallas and Nasri and Balotelli and the lot these days have.

Some guy called immildlyracist sent Nasri something on Twitter. Obviously Nasri wasn't happy about what that guy said and replied back with that.

IDK exactly what the guy said cuz his account doesn't exist anymore, but considering his name is immildlyracist I don't think it was very nice.

Francis Coquelin is poised to miss Arsenal’s pre-season preparations after being named in the French Under 20 squad for next months Under 20 World Cup in Colombia.

Coquelin, who spent the whole of last season on loan with Ligue One outfit Lorient, was expected to use pre-season to force his way into Arsene Wenger’s first-team squad. However, he and fellow Lorient loanee Gilles Sunu have both been named in Francis Smerecki’s initial 30-man squad, and are all but certain to make the final cut.

France’s involvement in the competition begins on July 30th, and will run to at least August 5th, when the group stages finish.

Ignasi Miquel has already been included in the Spain squad for the competition, meaning he will also miss pre-season.

Well it's been a long time since we've predicted an Arsenal game but we are back and this time it will be better than ever with new rules!

Just to remind everyone the winner of the 09/10 version was Spider and his runner-up was Jayp16 so kudos to them.

RULES:-

1- For a correct W/L/D prediction you get +1/-1 points
2- For a correct match result you get 10 points
3- For a correct 10 minute time range ( only one ) you get 5 points
4- Maximum goalscorers allowed are 3 and you get points based on the type of player according to this:-

Striker = 3 Mid-fielder= 4 Defender= 5

GK= 20

Well you might have noticed a change in the rules and kudos to Naj and jayp16 for giving out their ideas. Also I've designed a score sheet that will be used here as the table and I'll tabulate your predictions on my PC not here.

Its not good for anyone really. Anyone trying to sign him will probably have problems.

Though Demba Ba failed a medical at Stoke and joined West Ham in Jan so it does give other clubs the chance to sign them

I don't think he has failed his medical, considering he's with the U21 squad and all.

It doesn't really matter in the end though, since he's not joining us. If United get him, good for them. If they don't, then oh well.
