I'm torn between the two, but I'm sure VP's gonna be it just due to seniority.

vermaelan should be captain, he is the heart of our defense. Ok crazy thing could happen, Wenger makes Nasri captain to keep him just like he did Cesc, he this happens I will lose all respect for Wenger.

No, I doubt that. Nasri has no leadership qualities to speak of. He's also a mercenary who will be leaving one day or the other.
