RVP takes it I'm pretty sure, personally I would prefer Vermaelen as I just like CD as captains.

Just wanted to see some opinions. Didn't know RVP already had it. ._.

I'll just add RVP is class before I leave this section until next week's game. ;D

Even during pre-season; whenever RVP was on the pitch he would have the armband. Then when he was subbed he'd give it to Vermaelen.

@ynwa ..it's OK mate ...u don't have 2feel sorry...In fact thnx 4this thread coz i want 2add something too.....Well RVP absolutely deserves ,Vermaelen is a great so..but @topic...as new captain ..i'd love 2see Shaqiri,Xhaka,Mehmedi etc in the future...yeahhh

Seriously, apart from Boss, being Boss, Shaqiri pretty much fits what an usual Arsenal signing would be. Young, talented, but is an actual natural winger.

Anyways: vP Captain, Vermaelen vice Captain.

Although if it's the other way around I wouldn't mind it.
