3-3 Agg against Thun.

Out on away goals!

Bad times already for Italy in the chase to regain our 4th spot!

What? Didn't they draw 2-2 at home? So if they drew 3-3 away that means they progress.

Source: http://www.goal.com/en/news/166/europa-league/2011/08/04/2603998/palermos-fabrizio-miccoli-determined-to-progress-in-europa

"The Sicilians were held to a 2-2 draw at home in the first-leg of the third round qualifier last month and need to win or earn a draw with at least three goals to continue their march in the competition."

it was 3-3 on aggregate. which will say that this match ended 1-1

Bad for Calcio. Good for neutral fans looking for good action in the Europa League.

It's gonna be a very competitive tournament this year and I hope we can take it more seriously than Palermo did.

That's pretty sad... If Palermo are doing bad, I can't imagine what Udinese will look like.

Last time Udinese played in the EL they made the semis. I think it was 2008.

Yeah, but selling two key players? (Sanchez, Inler)

Sanchez was out on loan that year....They've got many talents there we don't know about yet. Asamoah have aleady made his name, and there's another youngster i saw in Midfield at times last season who looked promising, also from Ghana. I think they'll make the group stages if they avoid Bayern/Arsenal and the 4th la liga team...who was that again?

I doubt they will make that far this year. They sold all of their decent players except Di Natale.
