On topic, I have little problem with the player coming or if its Bojan who leaves us. What I don't like is 27 alone seems strong, let alone add a player.
Also, Sanchez and Affellay are not too far apart in style so its somewhat a duplicated talent.

Don't act like you know anything about Barcelona's squad. It was obvious throughout the season we needed another world class forward because Pedro and Villa had no competition for their starting berth as well as they went through a pretty long and terrible slump in form Villa especially going 14 games with 1 goal. Yes, if Messi or Villa was to get injured, Bojan and Afellay are not world class players, they are great players but not world class. Pretty much. Also remember Villa's dry streak and Pedro being off form.
Barcelona have been very lucky with injuries (apart from Puyol) compared to other teams. If they ever go down in a real injury crisis they need the bench.

Barcelona would be better off getting Zapata or any other CB instead of Sanchez. They need a CB more than a forward, and they don't need a high quality forward, someone bench material similar to Maxwell and Adriano. This Barcelona side is really reminding me of Florentino Perez's Galacticos Version 1.

In Barca's case... they can afford "WC" players on the bench. Sanchez is good but not exactly WC as of yet.
