rsinatra wrote:Julio Cesar needs to be benched, he just doesn't seem sure like he once did. It's time for a new super keeper.

Enter Diego Alves. Perhaps the most underrated keeper in the world, signed for Valencia this summer.

Someone else needs to pair up with Thiago Silva. David Luiz? Dedé?

David Luiz is the answer.

Our midfield was a joke. Fernandinho has the same agent as Mano's, so him being a starter is a bit too suspicious imo.

This confirmed that Mano is heavily biased. I was hoping it was just a bad dream when I saw the lineup and learned that Ramires, Fernandinho and Ralf will go up against Schweinstniger, Kroos and Gotze.

Ralf? Hmmm not yet.

Definitely

Pato is not our 9. He doesn't know how to act in front of goal, he always tried the wrong thing. We need someone like Romário, who will simply score, no matter how, even if it's ugly.

Pato as a ST for Milan destroyed Inter and Napoli, trust me he needs the proper service and a little more patience. Nilmar and Daimao are very good alternatives.

Ganso needs to be a starter. Wtf is this? He is going through a tough period, but if he is going to be our 10, he needs to feel secure, he needs to play in order to get better. He comes on for the last 20 minutes? Too slow by Mano.

Agree.

Marcelo in for André Santos, who is an inconsistent clown, and not good enough for Brazil.

Once again, completely agree.

Hernanes needs to be in that team. He used to play more like a defensive midfielder for Sao Paulo. Why not for Brazil?

He was the best midfielder in Serie A last season, no exaggeration. FFS look at Lazio's squad, it's a goddamn miracle they almost qualified for the Champions League.

Mano needs to look at Arouca and call him up.

Arouca, hmm I'm not sure. I would much rather Fernando of FC Porto receives a call up. He was one of the main reasons why Porto won the treble, he was their best midfielder and hardly ad a poor game.

Hulk too.

Hulk should replace Robinho in th starting line up, period. This man scored 40 goals and was the best player in a treble winning campaign for his team, ffs what more does he have to prove?

That, or he'll be fired soon.

Allegri also had a bad start at Milan, but then he learned from his mistakes and made us win the Scudetto. I thought after the Copa Mano would give Diego Alves, Rafael (Santos GK), Hernanes, Hulk, Marcelo, Fernando, Daimao, Nilmar would get their chance but no. If Mano continues to be biased and call up players he previously coached or has the same agent with, he should be fired for the best of Brazil.

My preferred starting XI

Diego Alves

Dani Alves David Luiz Thiago Silva Marcelo

Hernanes Lucas/Fernando

Hulk Ganso Neymar

Pato

To the Pato haters, he is AC Milan's Scudetto hero. Watch his games against Inter and Napoli (who were our closest title rivals) and Real Madrid and also the vital goals he scored for us ever since he joined. Jeez the number of times he saved us. His goal to game ratio is insane.

Fernandinho man-marked Lahm for the full duration of his time on the pitch to very good effect and created probably Brazil's best non-PK chance all night on that chip from Pato.

He wasn't perfect, but people are just looking for a non-brand name to stick this embarrassment upon.

It looks good, but I still like the idea of Maicon as our RB. I guess they can take turns.

And yeah, I am still not sure who should be next to Hernanes, and Pato really needs to impress me with with Brazil.

I agree.

Fernandinho is a good player and he didnt play bad either. If Brazil won, nobody would of mentioned him in a negative way.

Fenendinho was okay, it was Ralf who was really bad.

I completely agree. They are depending on small players, in which I find is not working out so well. Pato surely has been poor up to this point even for his standards.

Brazil should play like this:

Cesar
Maicon Lucio Silva Marcelo
Ramires Gustavo
Neymar Robinho Leite
Pato

With Doni, Alves, Luiz, Juan, Santos, Melo, Lucas, Ganso, Hulk, Fabiano, Grafite, and Ronaldinho on the bench.

How is Melo a bad player, if you guys for example play a 4-2-3-1 or a 4-2-1-3, Melo is the perfect destroyer for your midfield.

Maikon Leite along with Neymar, Ganso, etc isone of Brazils brightest talents. Melo is the perfect destroyer for a 2-man midfield, and Grafite is old, but was a late bloomer, and is a big cente forward similar to R9 in style which is exactly what you need. And he knows how to score. ALOT.

It seems you didn't see him in Juve this season, he was our best player last year. But sure stick with that biased opinion which happened years ago.
