Actually he was known to do right that for quite a while... His miss in the EM match against Austria in 2008 was legendary - from 2 metres over the goal. Very Happy

yeah i remember that miss.. i was watching the match live and i was like oh yeah 1-0 germany and then he missed.. i stood there for about 10 seconds not moving with my mouth open

Well, fortunately he got better by now. I think his efficiency is pretty admirable nowadays, just as the stats tell.
