Schalke04 about to sign Teemu Pukki

According to Finnish media, Teemu Pukki from HJK Helsinki already was in Gelsenkirchen for the medical. Pukki is the guy who almost shot Schalke out off the Europe League play-offs single-handedly (or rather single-footedly).

When Schalke lost to Helsinki in the first leg due to 2 Pukki goals and when Pukki shot the 1:1 in the second leg, my first thought was "Some one from the Schalke officials should go into the Helsinki dressing room and sign him up immediately!" - Looks like my wish was heard XD

The only drawback is that he is cup-tied for this season, but boy, I liked Pukki's speed and determination!

I guess it was love at first sight for both Schalke and Pukki.

Don't know what happened in Sevilla, he looked really awesome against Schalke without much
help from his teammates. No Sevilla player, not even Navas looked as good against Hannover.

Maybe he couldn't deal with the Spanish heat?

I was being sarcastic btw . He can sit on the bench, while I care..I think mostly we need a decent midfielder.

Oh come on, according to transfermarkt.de his current market value is 200,000 Euros, so that would be pretty much a bargain with almost no risk.

Magath would have never made this deal, too young and too cheap.

Yeah, if Schalke are lucky, it could turn into a Kagawa type bargain - Dortmund only paid 350,000 Euros to get Kagawa from Cerezo, everybody just shook their heads about the cheap transfer of a no-name, and look how well he developed!

Potentially great signing. Schalke still should've kept Magath though.

Schalke have to pay at least over 500 000 €. Mayby 1 000 000 € or more. Finnish media said it is new finnish league record.

I read the fee they agreed on was between 500,000 and 1,000,000 € indeed. Still a bargain IMO.

Sport1 just said the transfer fee was even between 1 mio and 1.5 mio Euros. Still great buy. I'm looking forward to seeing him play for Schalke!
