considering we won handedly...still wasn't impressed lost the ball to often...against stronger sides this line up would of failed, need more technical players in the middle who can keep the ball and create...

Hate this whole English media business, we all know barry is useless but to be fair parker isnt too bad. Milner is just as bad as barry. The team tonight would of really struggled against some of the best NT teams around.
England couldnt even gain possession for a long time. The sooner the likes of carroll, cleverly, jones and wilshere get more games the better.

Enlighten us again with how many goals and assists Barry has for City and England in the 4 games he's played this season from his Defensive Midfield position please and then we'll try and determine if he is indeed "useless."

Barry isnt a bad player when played as CM alongside a DM.But he is useless when played as a DM and he should be backup for Wilshere.His reputation is tarnished too much from world cup when he was used as a DM which was a stupid decision.

And Parker wouldnt get into any decent team yet he is a regular for NT.He shouldnt be anywhere near the England setup particularly considering his age and the position he is being played.

Thats a pointless article England would have still won if it was Nigel Reo Cocker and Cattermole were there instead of Barry and Parker there as Bulgaria's midfield was so dire.And i am sure English media would have written another article saying how Cattermole is England's savior too :coffee:

Its what they do in Euros that matter and i am sure if either Parker or Barry are used as DM England would again fail miserably since neither are DM.
