Its maybe 4th or 5th match that messi makes lot of assists every game for Argentina. He is better as a SS but i'd say he is top-3 playmaker today

Thats because they have 7-8 players purely focused on passing to Messi, not saying thats a bad thing but it gets predictable and is the main reason they fail more often than not.

As mentioned before, Argentines seem to have a Maradona complex. They look for someone to save them. I say, fix the shortcomings of the team instead. This ain't 1950s football. This is 21st century.
