IMO we should go for Cavani, and for an "artist" on the wing, like Gotze and Neymar. Cavani would compensate Di Maria's work-rate, letting Ronaldo, Ozil and Gotze/Neymar be the creative sparks.

benzema is a great player if it was up to me, it would keep both and sign aguero.

but benzema had a tough week, with the driving fine and getting his license suspended for six months. his celebration kind of reflected it.

seriously, in reality if aguero comes most likely someone will leave. but i like benzema and higuain and it would pain me to see one of them leave.

thats why i always said that i would prefer that we keep them both. but if madrid get a chance to sign aguero it will be too tempting to refuse.

Madrid would have to make a really tough descion. is aguero better than what we have and would he fit into the side properly?

I wouldn't say Aguero is better than Higuain/Benzema. He's more of an alternative.

The sad truth is Gonzalo Higuain can NEVER win over the back stage people because:-

1) HE IS NOT A FLORENTINO PEREZ GUY. Thats right, Pipa was bought by Calderon and not Perez, and hence like Robben, Sneijder etc. he too must go, his achievements be damned

2) HE IS NOT A GALACTICO. What i mean is he doesnt have a face that cn adorn magazines and sell merchandise. Sure, we have moved on from the ill fated Galactico policy, but the point stands, that Uncle Flo would rather have an Aguero than a Higuain.

The Madridista in me is sad to hear about Pipa leaving, but the Pipa aficionado in me is happy that he's moving away from this circus that cant recognise its best striker even when hes out scoring ronaldo (in Ronaldo's Debut season)
