How much do you rate Marek Hamsik?

I want to know overall opinions in this forum. Is he worse or better compared to more known AM such as Snejder,Kaka, Fabregas etc. ?

Did you see him against Manchester City or Milan?

I have always been a bigtime Hamsik fan. One thing that I used to hate about him is that in big matches he was always a ghost.

Up until this season however (in the small sample size that we have) he seams to have dropped that negative attribute.

His substitute performance in one of Napolis biggest games in recent memory was solid... scoring a very important goal. His performance against Milan wasnt a masterclass display, but he also didnt go missing either and contributed significantly to the win.

I dont think he is Ozil, Fabregas, Silva, etc... but he is only a bit below them.

and i didnt know Kaka was a top AM

... when did that happen?

Kaka is a good AM,has been performing very well for Madrid,top 15 in the world atm imo

Im actually happy for Kaka... always admired his talent and play style, glad to see him performing well, or in the very least getting consistent playing time. Ozil--Kaka is a nice AM tandem

2 months of Kaka revival and suddenly he's top.

I agree that he's still a class apart but you should reserve your judgement until this season gets over.Especially considering he's hardly played in the last two years with all these injuries he's had.

On-Topic:I rate Hamsik very highly.he has been immense this season especially in the Champions league but yeah he's still a level below the likes of Fabregas and Silva.

hes not world class like he used to be,im just saying hes a great AM,and i still think Kaka atm>Hamsik.he needs to keep performing well against bigger teams...which i hope he will since im not very hopeful on a good Milan/Inter CL campaign this season

I see kaka as more of a SS or goal scorer than as a AM who create for others.

Your description is very accurate, thank you. I ,too, felt his inexperience hindered him to show his real skills in big games. This year, he doesn't disappear anymore. I think he is a gangster by now, a fighter in midfield.He gave Italy a hard time with Slovenia,too. I hope he does something about Bayern because man for man they're very strong.

Valencia level AM.

I rate Hamsik very lowly. I do not see anything special in him, and what others see special in him goes unnoticed in many big games.

King ,more often than not it was Seedorf being the link between midfield and attack and Kaka playing further up as an SS behind a CF(Gila,pippo).

He's great. Needs consistency and overall experience but has great potential if he keeps up his growth.

Definitely needs to stay in Napoli.
