No doubt about it. He made a pinpoint one touch cross for 2-0 against Netherlands, is raping them all day long, involved in all attacks along with Muller, plays CM and right wing

imo he has looked good with germany all season, haven't kept the form with club. was good against lyon though

Ozil works a lot more defensively for Madrid, though. It's no wonder he gets tired and appears to lack form with us.

You have a point. However, scoring a goal is a lot more difficult than putting in accurate crosses.

Anyway, it was a great cross and Oezil is an excellent player, no doubt. I just dont see how that cross was spectacular. Muller's pass to Oezil was even better than the cross. He pulled three players to him and then played a perfect pass to Oezil.

Godolski just let the other 3 attackers show their worth and you totally didn't mention Klose! It's really klose between the three of them who was the MOTM, it's Muller for me btw. Anyway Ozil was great (isn't he always with ze German) and that cross is not that easy with his weaker foot and no extra touch it's nearly impossible to have that placement. His partnership with the still-underrated (maybe?) Muller would be key for Germany's success. When they raped the other teams together, it's just jizzfest.

Ozil form for germany never dropped. Ozil has yet to bring this form to madrid this season though due to certain circumstances.
