Idiot... he didn't need to provoke a booking. He could have been rested against Levante easily. Now he could miss both games... Very frustrating that he did this in the 80th minute. Its not even like the case with the Madrid players last year because it just doesn't make sense.

Poor judgement, a simple rush of blood to the head or is he innocent? Whatever the outcome of his ban, he would be a horribly costly blow.

Well it was better for him to get a yellow card this round because we play Levante, then his fresh for the Madrid game.Busquests needs to also watch his back as if he recieves another yellow card against Levante he will be a gooner against Madrid and I would prefer him than Keita.

He is a clown. Pep looked angry at him, he seemed to get off the bench and shout at him. Not sure, maybe it was just the camera work that made it look that way.

Anyway, he shouldnt of done it.

I would say though, some of the yellows he has gotten have been totally unfair.

Then again, some are for talking bad to the ref which is something he is in full blame for.

If he is banned for Madrid, it would be a bad blow.

I'd rather have both Barca and Madrid be at full strength tbh... so i hope he gets a 2-game ban that's appealable so he can play the clasico.

As I said... why does he have to play against Levante anyway? 7 minutes left in the game and then he could have been rested. We have plenty of players who can play in the backline instead of him.

Would be unjust if Pique didint get banned imo. But, seeing as some cules make him a very important player, I hope he dosent miss the Classicos match. Never rated him high anyway.

Pique is one of the best in the world tbh... no doubt.

Will be a blessing but no i want us to face the maximum strength barca this time.He was so stupid to get a yellow like that imo,la liga rules changed this year to a 2 match auto ban for forced yellow.

At least Iniesta will be there hopefully... a lot of the "bad form" by Barca is due to Iniesta's absences here and there. No matter how you look at it, he's irreplaceable imo. Messi does his thing but Iniesta makes the engine run smoothly. With Xavi slowing, he's even more crucial.

He needs Puyol by his side, otherwise he becomes rash and his concentration lacking. Is there a precedent for the LFP extending bans? I thoght all they did was fine players, as a rule.

Dont know. But I would like Dani Alves, Mascherano, Puyol with Abidal.

Could end up Abidal at centerback with Adriano at leftback.

Adriano's injured and will miss games against Levante and Bate.

Mascherano has probably earned his start, but the lack of Pique's height is kind of worrying. I just get flashbacks of Ronaldo's header. With Pique in the middle I'd feel much more confident against Ronaldo and Benzema.

Not to mention that a partnership of any of Mascherano, Abidal and Puyol is not reassuring. They are all relatively similar players that compliment Pique.

Mash will most likely start over pique if pique gets banned but he's going to have nightmares over ronaldo's vertical.

Mascherano has played against you guys plenty already, he hasn't had any problems dealing with Ronaldo.

As long as Abidal is not at centre back for the Madrid game with mascherano, Im fine, those two in the centre are like a nightmare to watch. If everthing goes right we will be able to produce the same side we did against Madrid in the 5-0 win.
