Jeremy Menez
During the game vs Marseille last Sunday, When asked by an opponent why he was not running more...
He replied: "I don't do the running, I let my teammates run. I only do the attacking"

Re: Jeremy Menez
Attitude like that is precisely why we let him go. He'd never get time under Luis Enrique with that poor mentality.
Beginning to think he may be destined for the "failed potential" group of footballers.

He's in the same category as Balotelli.
One of those douchebags who has talent and skill, but no heart and determination to succeed.

Lucky he never played with Osvaldo, he would've actually deserved it.

Re: Jeremy Menez
None have you guys have watched a single game of PSG lol.
He's actually doing very well at PSG and works his heart out. Even with France NT he makes an instant impact... his words are completely different than his output on the pitch.
Work rate is not the issue with Menez. He needs to add quality to his final ball and he'd be lethal. He's pretty much uncontainable as he's such a good dribbler.

Good to hear he's doing well.
However....
His lack of work rate is the primary reason we let him go. He simply wouldn't work hard enough in training. Montella saw that and benched him. Luis Enrique did the same as well. If he had put his head down and worked for his minutes instead of moaning about the lack of them while putting in the minimal effort, he would've had a better chance at staying.

Absolutely true, without a doubt. I watched him a bit earlier on this season (haven't been able to these last couple of weeks due to extreme overload of work). But I can say for sure that his work rate and low motivation is what got him sent away from Rome. If he's doing better with PSG, great for him, the change of air probably did him some good. But up until last July, his attitude was pretty poor, only Ranieri was able to get something out of him but he really had to treat him as a child. It's a shame since the kid when on his game could dribble past any defender.

I've watched PSG many times this season, He is just what he was at Roma. Don't see much difference.

Sickening image, he's had surgery on the ear now, hopefully there are no complications.
