Why no Pele or Maradona?

Question: Why doesnt FIFA ever include pele, maradona, dino zoff or Cruyff in any of there games? Each year their classic XI is just crap when you exclude these greats

They have to pay individual rights for each, and it costs a lot of money i think.

Besides, it's not worth the trouble, no one buys the game to play pele or maradona, for 99% people it's not important

Pele = starred in a Viagra commercial.

Cruyff = Batshit crazy.

This is the only area where PES beats FIFA, IMO. Those classic teams where a joy to use.

Apparently no one here played FIFA 2000. They included quite a bit of the legendary sides on that version. Surely they can't pull off that feat now though. Off the top of my head I remember they had...

Crujff's Ajax team
Bayern Munich of the 70's
Maradona's Argentina 1986
1958 Brasil with Pele
1970 Brasil with Pele again
1982 Brasil I think
Real Madrid of the 50's (You have no idea how brutal this side was playing against)
Jimmy Johnstone's Celtic

So yes, it has happened already but football has become so commercialized that trying to acquire the rights for these teams would probably put EA in some serious financial difficulty...

Play PES if you want Classic Content.

Classic Argentina
Classic Brazil
Classic Italy
Classic France
Classic England
Classic Netherlands
Classic Germany

Plus hidden packets of classic players, 150 in total. And all of them are transferable to Clubs Teams (Real Clubs or Created Clubs) and National Teams

well honestly i dont like the feel to PES so i dont play it at all
