Marcel Van der Kraan: Bergkamp Will Go to AFC if Cryuff Loses Court Battle

For those who don't wanna listen, he basically says that Bergkamp coming as a coach to Arsenal depends on whether Joann Cryuff wins his court case against some of Ajax's board members, who appointed someone that Cryuff has problems with. If Cryuff wins the court case and those board members get sacked and Cryuff gets control of the team, then Bergkamp will stay because he'll have even more influence than he already does.
As much as I want Bergkamp back in London, I also really want Cryuff's youth academy started, because the Dutch need some more quality guys for the future.

Can't believe after so many years in football, people want Cryuff out...

Managing a club is not all about football knowledge,he has terrible relationship with many of the board members. how is he going to run the club forward? By himself alone? i beg to differ.

That is the whole point i am trying to make. The board members have to get it into their head that Cryuff can lead Ajax to be a much better club than they are now. So they have to let him take the lead instead of trying to impose their will onto the club.

Barca wouldn't be where they are today if it weren't for Cruyff. Rosell will not be forgiven for removing him as honorary president.

Yes it does mean they have to kneel down to him. In fact they should be going and follow everything he says to the letter.

But he wasn't removed for being disliked at Barca. He was removed because Laporta was "Cruyffist" so he saw Cruyff as a political enemy. The decision had nothing to do with relationships or ability. If it had, Cruyff would have stayed.
