He's been with us long enough to count as homegrown so a loan won't be the worst move, but Monaco is a good club, so I am not sure he'd play all that much.

Now that's a little unfair, even for Mourinho.

It's not as if we can afford to play the likes of RLC at this stage.

I know you'll probably say that the first team is doing crap so there's nothing to lose but honestly, I don't think just raw passion would lead us any wins either.

Chelsea's Tammy Abraham targeted by Brentford on loan - sources

The powerful forward has established himself as a regular in the club's under-21s side this season and he scored seven goals in six games in the UEFA Youth League this term.

Chelsea are now considering sending Abraham out on loan so that he can gain some valuable first-team experience to aid his development.

Sources have told ESPN FC that a number of Football League clubs have expressed an interest in signing Abraham on loan, but Brentford are hoping to win the race for his signature.

Wouldn't be a bad deal, imo.

Chelsea captain John Terry has revealed that he wants youngster Jake Clarke-Salter to replace him in the first-team when he leaves the club.
Terry, 35, who is expected to depart from Stamford Bridge when his contract expires this summer, is an avid admirer of Clarke-Salter defender and has backed the the 18-year-old to fill his shoes when he’s gone.
‘Jake has a great attitude. I remember watching him a couple of years ago being in control of the game and a really vocal player,’ Terry told the Evening Standard.
‘He reminds me a bit of myself. He is doing great and I hope he goes on to take my position and get in the first team.

‘It was great for him to make his debut. I was disappointed I wasn’t there to support him because I missed the game through injury but watching it from home, I was delighted.’
Chelsea handed Clarke-Salter a new four-year deal in November so it’s clear the club have high hopes for the England Under-19 star.
The teenager is yet to make an appearance for the Blues’ first-team but he may have a shot next season when Terry finally hangs up his boots at the Bridge.
