English football lacks technical ability and tactics
All I see when I watch the premium league is headless chicken running hoping to get a lucky position, no tactical awareness what so ever except for a few players (RVP, Romeu and Modric to name some).

Re: English football lacks technical ability and tactics
Watch Arsenal.
Hell, as ugly as it sounds, watch City.
Chelsea is a work in progress and ManU has always been grinding out results since they don't have a midfield.
Erm, apart from that... there have been awesome matches this season, so I dunno what you're talking about.

Stereotype is true.Foreigners in EPL bring the goods technique wise, the English just come up with an occasional fluke player like Gerrard or Wilshere.

do you even know anything about english football.. they have always produce technical mids
tony currie, charlie george, bobby more, bobby charlton, dennis law and many more
oh and that stereotype reminds me of 2006 champions league, when arsenal got Juventus, Madrid and Villareal
everyone wa slike " english teams lack technique".. we all know how those games turned out to be
oh and rememberr Milan vs Arsenal in 2008 UCL?
yes they tried playing this stereotype BS, and we all know how it worked for them. Arsenal went to San Siro, with foriegn technique mixed with british speed, and milan could not handle

I don't really agree with the statement than english are not technical, buy you do have to admit that they produce less technical players than other football powerhouses such as Netherlands, Italy, France, Brazil or Argentina.

The worst Milan side in twenty years? England is a big country and therefore it's bound to create a few technical players, however the English game itself lacks it, the "hoff the ball" tactics that almost all English team use is emphasize it.
And english_jewel, no I am not trolling.

Re: English football lacks technical ability and tactics
Wow for a league that is so universally despised, detested and hated by most on here, it sure is talked about a lot. Even more so than La Liga and Serie A

Re: English football lacks technical ability and tactics
Hoof the ball tactics doesn't necessarily mean crossing it, it means moving the ball as fast as possible to the other team's box without an actual game plan, the only team that seems to actually have a plan is Arsenal. English teams need to watch Napoli to learn a little bit about how to counter attack, that's why MC was so deeply hurt by Napoli.

Arsenal are now a more direct attacking team and don't do the "tiki-taka" passing anymore
infact its other epl teams that try it against us fulham succeeded, but west brom got raped trying it
love when trolls expose themselves

Re: English football lacks technical ability and tactics
I watched Chelsea vs Wigan today, pretty much the same football except with a noticeably higher line. You can call it kick and run football but we can agree that tactical awareness is the lowest of all the top flights.
