im sorry did corinthians win their match?1-1 with a very late equalizer is a good game.. ?? santos at least bossed much of the match and shouldve won if our forwards knew how to finish a little better.

lol small club mentality there, and i dont blame you. corinthians are pretty small outside of brazil. always have been and always will be!

lol thats the only argument corinthians have. trophies are what count.

the fact remains, that you have no real title outside of brazil, thus you're a small club outside of the country. that silly 2000 cwc doesn't count for shit, everyone but corinthians fans know that. so, that's what i meant. corinthians fans should be happy if they get knocked out at the round of 16.

btw, is it just me who doensnt like the Libertadores theme song?? I mean, it's a great composition by Beethoven, nothing against it, except that it wasn't written for the Libertadores. If I'm not mistaken, the Champions League song was written for it, wasn't it? The ladies sing "the champiooooonnss.." don't they????? CONMEBOL should do the same.... though I admit there are far more important things that they should do Razz

Lord Hispano wrote:The Beethoveen bashing. Sad

no no, beethoven wrote some good stuff for his time, i just wish that the Copa had its own song, specifically written for it, as does the Champions League.

Btw, wtf was that with Peñarol? 0-4 at home. Pathetic.

Here are the results from last night:

Penarol 0-4 Atletico Nacional
Arsenal de Sarandi 3-0 Zamora
Bolivar 1-3 Union Espanola
Cruz Azul 4-0 Deportivo Tachira

LOTS of goals!!

Velez 3-0 Chivas

The score line is deceiving. :vagi:

IMO we deserved at least a draw.

I'm not even trolling lol.

Chivas and America are two of the biggest Mexican teams EVAR and they haven't even starred in their respective league Finals since.... I wanna say 08... but I think its been since 2005...

They are pretty mediocre tbh. They're starting to lose their star power to the likes of Cruz Azul and UNAM.

my oh my, going from THE Symbol of Mexican futbol to.. cannon fodders. One day one of them will relegate, and I'm going to savor the tears of every Mexican. RIP Chivas and Agilas

Cruz Azul will show you for what you really are Catracho. Laughing I bet there's you have chill in your spine now that your Cruz Azul's next target.

Plus, America ain't goin' nowhere's. Mexico's got a pretty tight competition. Especially these days.
