Bouy takes ZZ and Davids path

Juventus teenager Ouasim Bouy has spoken of his admiration for Bianconeri legends Zinedine Zidane and Edgar Davids.

The 18-year-old Dutchman moved to the Turin giants on transfer deadline day last month after a deal was agreed with Ajax.

“My idol is Zidane,” the midfielder told Tuttosport. “He was the best, but I feel good in midfield behind the strikers or in front of the defence.

“It would be a dream for me if the Juve fans, one day, loved me like they did Davids.”

Bouy has been inserted into the Juventus Primavera side and he scored on his debut in the Viareggio Cup.

“To come on and score was beautiful, especially in front of my family who were watching,” he continued. “It was a rocking debut.”

All I have heard is good things about him. Not to mention the whole Primavera are doing fantastic.

It gives me good hope about the future for Juve.
