To go through to the next round ?
Re: Napoli - Chelsea
I feel this is one of those games that everyone thinks it will go one way... but that will actually go the other.
I'm pretty confident Chelsea will progress.

= English teams' morale at a low in Europe after the other 3 teams got theirs + I think Napoli are everyone's favourite 2nd team.

Are you stupid??? Don't comment on things you don't know about. Have you been following us continuously? Or are you basing things on that one Arsenal game which you know about since the forum was taking about it, but obviously not the other games since no one talked about them and you didn't bother to watch? If you still hold that comment to be yours after continuously following us then I am saddened by your football knowledge.Patrick Bateman wrote:Yeah Terry not playing is actually a blessing in disguise for Chelsea.Lavezzi would kill him with his pace..
And Cahill is a better defender and much more faster than Terry right?
terry has been pretty mehh this season, only good thing about him nowadays is his offield controversies
playing as bad as him is a terrible job and i dont even think luiz or cahill can manage that

Re: Napoli - Chelsea
If Luiz plays I expect him to have a great game, very good skillset to play against Napoli.
If Rich Man's Ramos is truly deserving of his name, he'll be great as well.
Terry has had a couple horror shows against Tevez,I don't think he'll be all at ease against lavezzi either.

Re: Napoli - Chelsea
2 months... really? So will it be
Ivanovic - Cahill - Luiz - Cole
or
Bosingwa - Ivanovic - Luiz - Cole?
The loss of Terry won't make Chelsea's defense more composed or organized, but it will make it younger, faster and more dynamic. The speed of this defense might actually be beneficial against Napoli. However, Terry's organization will be missed against Napoli's big three in attack.

Re: Napoli - Chelsea
Well Luiz has been looking much much better at LCB, guess its kind of a blessing in disguise.
Although JT is such a lion and pretty much held the defence together this season when Luiz has been very meh, guess we have to put faith in Gary.......

You paid 7 million for an English international... He may not be completely adjusted, but if AVB is to overhaul this team, this is the perfect time to start.Abramovich wrote:Well Luiz has been looking much much better at LCB, guess its kind of a blessing in disguise.

Terry is the one who keeps the defense organized and maintains a unity in the squad ffs
And I'm tired of this "now the defense will be much faster" bullshit. I couldn't give a damn. You know who his replacement is going to be?? CAHILL!!! And he's going to be playing alongside Luiz!! Now the defense is going to be less organized and worse defensively but I guess that doesn't matter because all that matters is your defense being dynamic because apparently Terry is as fast as a toad!!! GET INNNN!

Chelsea are favourites but wouldn't be surprised if Napoli take a win. Still think Chelsea will go through.. They have to much experience as a team compared to Napoli.

Re: Napoli - Chelsea
Even odd makers have Napoli favoured now for this match. Average of all odds, Napoli win pay 2.36 and Chelsea win pay 3.36.
Napoli will go through for sure.

Re: Napoli - Chelsea
All depends on this match. CHelsea stay within a goal (especially if they get an away goal) they could win it at the Bridge.leemhuis wrote:Even odd makers have Napoli favoured now for this match. Average of all odds, Napoli win pay 2.36 and Chelsea win pay 3.36.

BTW, Eric Wynalda on Fox Soccer: "Torres will be available from the bench, if Chelsea want someone who cannot score... for the past few months, anyway."

Man like Cavani
flipping hell he always scores
Chelsea cant deal with Lavezzi and Gargano/Inler are doing brilliantly to keep pinching the ball in midfield and setting up counters
