By the way, Squawka just noticed that, too:Yohan Modric wrote:ffs we're getting 16th placed de Gea when Sommer's available.

Re: Swiss Goalkeeper Appreciation Thread
Kicker.de published their Goalie ranking for the Rückrunde 2014/15:
Very good result for the Swiss goalies in the Bundesliga again, although I would have put Yann Sommer at number one ahead of Manuel Neuer and Bernd Leno, if you look at his stats.
After all, sportingintelligence.com, who only go for statistical data, also consider Yann Sommer as number 1, even in all of Europe:

Roman Bürki also achieved a very good result. Dortmund can count themselves lucky that they finally have a modern goalkeeper, too.

Re: Swiss Goalkeeper Appreciation Thread
Torwart.de (a German website dedicated to goalkeepers and goalkeeping) chose Yann Sommer as best Bundesliga goalkeeper of 2014/15:
Runner-up of their vote was Roman Bürki.

Heh. The Swiss version of FIFA 16 has Yann Sommer on the cover:

Re: Swiss Goalkeeper Appreciation Thread
Thomas Tuchel decided that Roman Bürki will be Dortmunds Nr.1 goalie in the Bundesliga. Bürki thus displaced Roman Weidenfeller as starter.

@Hans
There are still 5 matches to go. Gladbach just can't stay so desolate until the 6th matchday (I hope).

Re: Swiss Goalkeeper Appreciation Thread
Yann Sommer looking bad for both Barca goals.
First goal, the equaizer, why the hell is he squatting? Gets beaten right above him from a small angle because he's *bleep* squatting for no reason.
Second goal, huge mistake, can't keep hold of the ball and let's it fall right in front of Pique.
Sommer single handedly ruining BMG's deserved surprise win against Barca.
RWO what the hell.
