alves is not starting? hmm risky gamble but if alexis and cuenca play on the wings i guess it aint too bad, since the back line is primarily defensively oriented.. still thought alves was pretty much an untouchable despite the unexpected squad shuffle

Alves is a fullback, Pep has played a no-fullback formation for ages now despite Alves playing. In all honesty he should have reverted to a 4 man back line or replaced him sooner.
