Well the season is almost over for another year, who do you guys think was the worst buy throughout the Year?

I am tempted to say Downing but surely there has to be a worse transfer?

Coentrao for his price. I think he's a talented player in the wrong team though. Not enough game-time and he is constricted by Mourinho's style. He carved up in the WC and for Benfica. If he were put on the market for $10 mil... :hungry:

Torres should win this in a landslide victory. I'd go so far to say that he may be the flop of the decade. The good news for him though is that he only has one way to go, up! Any single thing he does from now is gonna be an improvement. I expect a huge year from him next season.

Coentrao was overpriced, I wouldn't say he was a flop. Huge, huge difference. He was simply an unnecessary signing. As was Sahin. Not flops, just not needed & under utilized, in the case of one, definitely overpriced.

I did say who is the worst BUY of this season.
