He's going to have very good teachers in Ribéry and Robben. Lots to learn Very Happy Well, and Müller, too. I hope he adapts quickly to the Bayern worth ethic. He knows German and injects badly needed youth into our wings. At the 8m reported price, he's a steal.

I know some guys don't rate him that highly, but I'm confident of his ability to step up and have been following him for a while now.

Is not the player Reus is, but can be just as talented, IMO.

The Switzerland international, who had been keen on moving to Turkey, is delighted with the way in which things have panned out and is now hoping to make a big impression in Munich, telling Sport1: "I want to win the treble with Bayern."

Breaking into Jupp Heynckes' starting lineup will not be easy, though, given that he will be competing for an attacking berth with Thomas Muller, Toni Kroos, Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben.

However, Shaqiri is undaunted by the challenge facing him, arguing: "No matter where you go, you have competition - and that's just the same at Bayern."

Shaqiri has an early opportunity to prove his talent to his new employers when Basel tackle Bayern in the last 16 of the Champions League, with the first leg set to take place at St. Jakob-Park on February 22.

---

Wants a treble. Ambitious the little guy, I'm liking that already.

Hm.

Also, Bayern Munich still is f*cking weird, playing dress-up with their players and sh*t, like anyone would seriously and on their own free will wear Lederhosen.

F*ck yeah Rostbratwurst

I worked at a spring fare here in Heidelberg last week, we served beer from the local cloister's brewery and the booth right next to us served organic barbecue stuff, had some excellent organic Currywurst and Schnitzelbrötchen, with house-made sauce. For free. Boom.
