Napoli,Lazio and Udinese are involved in this as well and if found guilty they will be docked points.Looks like Inter might be playing in the champions league next season after all and us in the Europa.

75 games in Serie A/B are under investigation by Prosecutor offices
in Bari, Cremona and Naples.
- # of Clubs u/investigations; Serie A = 11; Serie B = 17

-Clubs that risk point/s deduction are:
Atalanta, Bologna, Cesena, Chievo, Genoa, Lazio, Napoli, Novara and Udinese.

-Clubs where Executives, Director/s, Coaches are involved face relegation.
Lecce and Siena risk point/s deduction to relegation.

- It seems after all is said and done, Inter will make CL and Roma EL.
Lazio, Napoli and Udinese risk point/s deduction = No Europe.

* Referrals from Prosecutor office in Cremona arrived @ FIGC, Federal
Prosecutor Palazzi office in Rome on Tuesday May 8, 2012.
- The following was reported as breakdown of referrals:
22 clubs.
33 games; 29 from Serie B, 2 from Tim Cup, 2 from Leg Pro.
52 Active players and 2 former players.
4 Club Executives / Club employees.
3 Coaches/Technical Staff of which 2 are still active.
- Serie A Clubs effected in the 1st referrals are:
Atalanta, Novara and Siena.
- On May 9, 2012, the witnesses and charged were notified and FIGC send
the referrals to the Disciplinary Commission.
- 1st Trial is likely to be end of May, 2012 and finish before Euros.

* Referrals from Serie A games for 2009/11 & 2010/11 seasons
will be part of 2nd referrals from investigation by Prosecutor offices
in Bari and Naples.
- Serie A clubs likely to part of 2nd referrals are:
Chievo, Genoa, Lazio, Lecce, Napoli, Udinese and possibly
Bologna and Cesena,
- 2nd Trial is likely to be in July and finish before August 2, 2012.
(3rd qualifying round of EL)

* FIGC and CONI will likely apply points deduction to 2011/2012 season.
- Likely bans for players and illegal bettors by FIGC will be:
a) 1 year ban from all football activities for anyone who was asked to
fix a game, refused but then failed to report it.
b) 2 years ban for anyone who placed the bet but didn't play in the game.
c) 5 year ban to player who agreed to fix the game and played in it.

-Atalanta risk another -7 points
Under investigation are the following games from 2010/2011 season.
Atalanta - Piacenza
Ascoli - Atalanta
Padova - Atalanta
* In August 2011 Atlanta were docked -6 points and Doni banned for
3.5 years from all football activities.

- Bologna risk -2 points
Under investigation is the following game from 2010/2011 season.
Bologna - Bari

Cesena risk -3 points
Under investigation is Marco Rossi and the following game from
2010/2011 season.
Cesena - Bari

Chievo risk -3 to -6 points
Under investigation are Pellissier, Luciano and the following games
from 2010/2011 season.
Brescia - Chievo
Bari - Chievo
Inter - Chievo

- Genoa risk -2 points
Under investigation are Milanetto, Dainelli and the following game
from 2010/2011 season.
Lazio - Genoa

- Lazio risk -7 points and no Europe.
Under investigation are Ledsema, Mauri and Brocchi and the following
games from 2010/2011 season.

Lecce - Lazio

- Napoli risk point/s and no Europe
Under investigation are the following games from 2009/2010/2011 seasons.
Sampdoria - Napoli on May 16, 2010
Napoli - Inter on May 15, 2011
Lecce - Napoli in 2011
* Gianello, the former G.K. of Napoli has stated to the prosecutor
office he made attempt on behalf of the bettor/s to fix
Sampdoria - Napoli game on May 16, 2010. In the dressing room he
asked Paolo Cannavaro and Grava to fix the game, however both refused.
* Also, Gianello has admitted to the prosecutor office that it is his
voice on the wiretaps that has Ex-Chievo Player Cossato w/conversations
with him and the bettors stating 9 to 11 players had agreed to fix the
Napoli - Inter game; it was to end in a draw and ensure Inter finish #2,
Napoli #3 and Napoli have straight passage to CL.
* Mascara is under investigation for the Lecce - Napoli game.

- Novara risk points
Under investigation are the following games from 2010 Coppa Italia.
Chiero - Novara
Novara - Cyrene

- Udinese risk points and no Europe
Under investigation is the following game from 2009/2010 season.
Udinese - Bari
Chievo - Udinese
More details have merged that players involved to fix this game were
Parisi, Belmonte, Bonucci, Andrea Masiello and Salvatore Masiello.
Also, Pepe was offered a Ferrari but refused, however once he did join
Juve for 2010/2011 season he bought a Red Ferrari.
* Bonucci denies he was involved or was asked.
* Pepe risks 1 yr ban from the game.

- Lecce risk -6 points to relegation
Under investigation are Covia, Benassi, Rosati, Ferrario, and the Director
of football and the following game from 2010/2011 season.

- Siena risk points and to relegation
Under investigation are the following games from 2010/2011 season
and then assistant coach Stellini.

- Siena player Carobbio (now on loan w/Spezia) has stated to the
Prosecutor office in Cremona that Antonio Conte knew about fix of
Novara 2-2 Siena game. (On April 21, 2012 AC denied he knew).
Per Carobbio, bettors Gegic and Ilievski had proposed a draw or
draw w/over and players from Siena and Novara agreed to a draw
after meeting in Hotel where Siena team was staying in May, 2011.

It's not really serious if you look into the details, still shameful though.

From what i've read these people who want to influence matches are targeting the individual players, and not necessarily the club as a whole. There is little a FA can do to prevent influential individuals from doing these things.

The worst part is the club pays a heaver price even though in some cases they were unaware of certain players fixing the games.

Why is Lazio,Udinese & Napoli have to be in it?
The 3 of the 4 teams battling for Champions League football...
Now you honestly gonna tell me this doesn't look like an aid so Inter can go back to Champions League?

That why i lost faith in Serie A. Still like some teams and of course a lot of players there but i can't help but always have a slightly doubt when i see '' mistakes'' from goalkeeper or strikers or someone geeting a red for stupid fault .

Ex: Buffon lately even if it's obvious that was a mistake ...

How exactly does unearthing a match fixing scandal make them the worst? Maybe if the teams that are under investigation actually behave themselves then FIGC wouldn't have yet another scandal to deal with.

Anyway, it isn't as bad as Calciopoli but still, if you're not a fan of Italian football or an Italian club, one might really not even bother watching this league.

Not directly, but from that statement it would seem so, since the result would be in Inter's favor. But I think Inter had nothing to do with this one, it seems as if Gianello and co. were the ones behind it.
