Makes you think that Serie A has been a sham from the word go. All those titles in the 80s and 90s were probably fixed for certain teams lol (there's no "probably" about it. But i feel kind today).

Unbelievable. How can you take anything seriously in this league anymore.

slow down there tiger. Allegations =/= proven
but if it is true, then I agree with you but even a 5 year ban would probably see clubs avoid these players like the plague

Rebaño Sagrado wrote:Any player DIRECTLY involved in match fixing should be banned for life imo

What do you mean by directly involved?
I mean, look at Pepe's incident. He was approached but refused, but he also didn't report it. Is he directly involved? I'd say yes.

I disagree. Pepe did not agree to fix a match, and he didn't benefit from it in any way if what Masiello says is true. However I do think a suspension for not stopping it is needed, but 1 yr would be fine.

you know what's annoying..

In the 80's english teams got banned 5 years from european football, cuz of bad stadia and hooliganism

Italian football has managed to have a match fixing scandal twice in six years, and watch Uefa just take a good look at this and nwatch nothing happen

match fixing is just as bad as hooliganism

Conte has not been involved in fixing games.Only one Siena player(Carrobio) has accused him of doing so and the rest of the other Siena players who worked under him have given interviews to the press saying he doesnt have any hand in fixing games.

However for not reporting it,a one year ban could be possible ,same for Pepe. But we'll see.

I'll give you a detailed description if you want.I'll post it here.

Even if he will be found guilty (he won't), Juve doesn't have anything to do with it as he was coaching Siena at that time.
