Lampard for me he's the all time top assister in the EPL and the 6th all time top scorer in the EPL, and he's won the most individual and team honours, Lampard is the better player in my opinion.

Gerrard for me. People don't remember just how Gerrard carried a piss poor Liverpool side to a Champions League Trophy and another Champions League final. I think only Liverpool and Milan fans can vouch for Gerrard's greatness.

Not going to choose. Both are Legends and while they will always be compared, they shouldn't be. The should be watched in Awe and Praised for what they have completed in their careers.

People comparing goal records with Lampard even though they know Gerrard has played at CB,RB,LW,RW,SS,ST,AM,CM,CDM through his career for his piss poor team. :facepalm: :facepalm: :facepalm:

Anyways, I respect both players and hope both of them reach 100 caps for England before they retire.

Many seem to overlook the fact that during 04/05 Lampard was the second best player in the world.

By that Logic, Henry, Maldini, Kahn and Roberto Carlos all suck.

No Gerrard has played further up, under Rafa and good span of his career he was a SS/CAM. While almost all of Lampard goals and appearances have come from central midfield.

It is really close but I feel Gerrard is slightly, only slightly better at Lampard in most aspects aside from finishing, timing of runs etc.
