Re: Women's Football Stars
They played against South Korea; the final score was 5-0.
my viewing will be largely dependent upon available streams/coverage. The women's game just doesn't get much attention and coverage, unfortunately.

@Red
Well, in Germany the Euro will be broadcast on the main PBSs ARD and/or ZDF (still have to check which of them exactl - often they share such events, too), and they will normally stream the matches for free via their websites, too. You'd just need a German proxy to get the - albeit German language - coverage.
ARD/ZDF also broadcast the friendlies of the German NT live, too, btw. Next will be against Japan (Jun 30). I wonder when we will me the US ladies again, gotta check the NT schedule. Hm. Nothing set up it seems - maybe next Algarve Cup?

Wimps, fss. Married women are the best. Nothing beats the feeling of adrenaline running through your veins when jumping out of her bedroom window half naked once you hear the husband coming home.

It's less about being wimps and more about A) having morals and/or B) not feeling the need to talk big on the internet.

Wambach up to 180 goals in 240 international appearances.
180 goals.
She's scored more headed goals than most players have scored goals (76).

Re: Women's Football Stars
Oh, by the way - FC Bayern München are German Champions this year - only for the second time in history. But they did manage this feat without suffering a single defeat and were thus proper invincibles!
This means Bayern München and VfL Wolfsburg (runners-up of the Bundesliga) have both qualified for the Women's Champions League 2015/16.

Re: Women's Football Stars
This summer, Célia Šašić (née Okoyino da Mbabi) decided to hang up her football boots at the still tender age of 27 after almost 11 years as Bundesliga player and German international.
Célia Šašić won 111 caps (scoring 63 goals) for Germany and was two-times winner of the European Championship, three times winner of the Algarve-Cup, Champions League winner 2015 and top scorer of various tournaments, among them the World Cup 2015.
Šašić wants to complete her university degree in cultural studies (as she is the German born daughter of a French mother and Cameroonian father, she was pretty much predestined for such a field of study) plus she wants to found a family
