Chelsea won't finish in the Top 4 this season

Very poor side despite all the signings. Question marks all over the team as well as the manager.

Poor defense, poor midfield, isolated striker and no real width in the team.

We're still playing the same style of football and the entire pre-season has been a total disaster. Very disjointed team with flaws all over the pitch.

Only AVB can save them.

EDIT: Di Matteo will be sacked by January.

Well I guess the only silver lining is that you will leave the forum again and stop pretending to be a fan.

Also double season, we were almost as bad in pre season. I ain't arsed at all with any of the results thus far, hell the community shield is a friendly game too.

You can't just dismiss it as 'only pre season', we've been totally outplayed and outfought by a Championship side with most of our first choice team playing. We were deservedly beaten against a side put together in a few days in the all star game and we've been vulnerable to attacks all pre-season long against piss-poor teams.

This was a strong side at the end of the pre-season and we got embarrassed. Nothing has changed at all and this entire pre-season has been a total waste.

We're slow and pedestrian when attacking with terrible movement among our midfielders and we're still sitting back and allowing teams time on the ball when defending rather than pressing and pushing the team forward.

I mean this has been going on for more than a year now not just a few weeks. You have to be the most blinkered fan out there to not realise that.

Struggling to remember a team we've outplayed from start to finish. Not talking about sitting back and battering a team on the counter but thoroughly outplaying a team with attacking intent from the first whistle.

If not being happy/proud of us playing like a Championship side and relying on set pieces and individual quality to win games makes me a 'plastic' fan so be it.

I know I'm probably coming off as a spoilt fan considering we only just won the double only just a couple of months ago and I'm complaining about f**king pre-season but I've been worried about of style of play for years now.

Fairly sure we lost to all stars back in 2006 with Mourinho and a stronger squad. Preseason games mean nothing, half the players look like they don't even want to be there because it's just fitness.

Though I don't know if he was being casual/lazy or his technical ability just sucks.

Possibly a mixture of both, he's still only 19 so has a way to go before he could be leading our line.
