Muscular pains (very vague). Highly unlikely he will play tomorrow. Doesn't seem serious>
I just don't think he can play more than once a week until he gets 2-3 months in. It was too much, too soon. He needs a rotation partner.

Just was going to post this. Theo Walcott joins the injury list aswell (illness) and both have returned to Arsenal.

I would not read too much into this. I have a feeling that diaby got injured due to arsene's request. Don't be surprised if he recovers by next Saturday. If not, we always have coquelin. A win/ win situation IMO.
Furthermore... Him rested against the saints = fresh against Manchester and the renties.
(I am sure one of coquelin , aox, Ramsey could handle the box to box role against the mighty southampton )

Tbf Soton are no pushovers. They gave both Manchester clubs a run for their money. Wouldn't be surprised to see us concede our first goal of the season, albeit can't see us losing with Lulu and Santa around. 
Coquelin will get games, I'm sure of it. With Song around I wasn't sold on him, but I think he'll prove to be a valuable asset in our team this season.

Soto have a good attack but their defense is atrocious, they will probably be relegated come end of the season

Hopefully, it's just a routine muscle injury one may get from playing consecutive games for the first time in ages and not something that's more complicated or part or a bigger problem.
I had hopes that Wenger would be cautious with him and limit his time on the pitch somewhat. Let's see if he does that. It's a bit foolish, in my view, to risk such an injury prone player so much after he's just come back from a lengthy lay off.

This was bound to happen with the amount of games he's been playing. I won't be worried if he misses Saints as we have Coquelin and Ramsey to choose from, good depth imo. If he misses Man City then I'll start to groan.

i will start Rambo.. with Arteta playing DM and Cazorla AM.. there is no pressure on Ramsey.. he can play his natural game... so would be interesting... i will give Rambo 60 minutes and Coquelin 30 minutes...
