The game saw Joao Carlos Teixeira debut for LFC Academy. The kid is great, he's one for the future.

Liverpool U21s team: Gulacsi, McLaughlin, Wilson, Sama, Sokolik, Coady, Morgan (Ibe), Roddan, Ngoo, Adorjan (Teixeira), Cole (Pelosi). Unused subs: Nacho, Ward.

Anyway. I'm definitely going to follow this league, we could see some gems from other teams get destroyed by our own.

What are the rules though? If it's under 21's only, how did Cole feature? He hasn't played more than 21 games for Liverpool. Is that it? Last line is me taking the piss.

lol I think the rules are like the Olympics, where 3 players over the age of 21 are allowed to play.

I guess the under 21's lack depth (Suso/Sterling in first team) with Cole playing.
