Have a look at it....its great. From here i got the idea of starting this topic. There are so many-Argentina vs Brazil, El Clasico, Italy vs France and....come on, I am not naming them all!!! Just tell me which do u think is the best.

North London is always spectacular. Probably my favourite.

El Classico is generally a bit boring tbh.

There is no answer to it, there are only opinions and thats what i want.

Revier derby. Its at the level where the fans of Dortmund call Gelsenkirchen "Herne-West" and Schalke fans call Dortmund "Lüdenscheid-Nord" because they don't want to mention the other city. And some really memorable moments like a last minute equalizer by Lehmann.

Plus both Schalke and Dortmund have some of the best fans in the world which is what really makes a derby.

Also how can someone forget the superclasico...

the clasicos have so much douchebaggery involved that they're pretty much an advert on what's wrong with football so i'm gonna go with no on that option

el classico is not a derby.

The best derby atm is the manc derby. My favs though are the North London derby and the Manc derby.

For me it is the Revier Derby for sure. And the best thing is - I have it practically next door

Does El Clasico classify as a derby...?

North London for me, if not.

The best DERBY is wuthout a dount the Revier Derby between Schalke amd Dortmund. After that comes the Rhein Derby between Koln and Leverkusen. I personally have been to the Rhein Derby, and ive been to alot of gsmes, but never with an atmospbere like rhat.

Most entertsining rivalry though i say is Juve-Milan games. always excellent games.

There are many interesting international rivalries too...for me its Argentina vs Brazil......always entertaining.

Since City whored themselves out to Sheik Mansion, the Manchester derby has become somewhat exciting, since you never know who is going to win, whereas before, 9-and-a-half times out of 10, you knew United would win

Its by far the Revier derby.its the greatest rivalry in sports history with nothing come close!

Sydney FC vs. Wanders

Has to be Aston Villa vs Birmingham City.

The amount of steel and grit displayed in those game is abnormal.

if we are generalizing derby matches to all big rivalry matches instead of just direct local rivalry matches..

then id have to say el classico (though i admit they were much more enjoyable to watch prior to the recent shenanigans) its the most talent in the world mushed into 2 of the most bitter rivals.

north london is maybe my favorite to watch so id place it 2nd in overall quality

and third has to be the milan derby which i feel like it has been a bit disappointing in the past couple years, but i can remember probably 4-5 years ago i was absolutely blown away.

North London Derby is the best. Proves it time and time again. Drama and goals galore.

we select them on the basis of the quality they produce i.e.- fast-paced game, the ball moving from one goal to the other in no time, with a lot of skills and thrilling chances on the goals.
